The tree with the burgundy baubles was the best. This one is nice, but it's too beige, so it just blends into the background. Maybe if the tree had more green, it would have stood out better

When my boys were little there’s 3 of them,helped put our mixed colour baubles on the tree,usually all one side lol but it didn’t matter,they loved it,that’s when Christmas started first weekend in December,happy memories of those days,there all married now do the same with there children I’m sure.xxxx

it’s not the only tree they have, they got a bigger size and Noah is too little to decorate yet which she mentioned in the end of the video .. like she said maybe next year. He can barely walk yet

Gemma, your Christmas 🎄 tree and decorating skills, in general are stunning. You have such a knack for making everything cozy! Since you love muted neutrals, have you ever given thought to white-washing the brick on the fireplace? Fun fact: I just found out that Buzz's gf's photo in Home Alone was actually a photo of either the director's or producer's son with a wig because they didn't want it to offend an actual girl. Now little Noah needs his own tree to decorate with his own ornaments in his playroom! We collected a new ornament each year for our children representing their interests/achievements/hobbies for that year and I added the year to them. When they moved out (after college/university) I gave the collection to them to have for their first grown-up Christmas. Each one made us remember like it was yesterday, share a laugh and feel blessed to have shared so many Christmases. It made their first more special and helped get them started on ornaments.

I love the white and gold. Years ago, before I got married, my roommate and I did a white, gold light pink tree. It was beautiful!!

Christmas is all about tradition for me so my trees are always the same. My fancy tree is on the main level with cream, gold, pink, burgundy and a little blue. My traditional tree is in our basement family room with the reds and greens and all the handmade ornaments from over the years. Some made by my children when they were little and now have children of their own 🎄
