I was so upset when Tuesday Morning announced they are closing their stores!!! 😢 both of mine in my town are going too! I got some deals but I’m so very sad, that’s one of my favorite decor stores!

Yea! A Valerie video! I've missed you, girl. I love that you are promoting shopping our homes. It is a great way to find new uses for "old" items. I have had somewhat of a shopping binge over the last couple months but am really trying to back off - like you said the current conditions are troubling. And I'm having fun styling and restyling different parts of my home with your inspiration. Hopefully will be starting on my own diy benches this week. Am very excited. Keep the videos coming.

I can really appreciate that you are very resourceful and don’t waste money having to buy every new decor item on the market. I only buy what truly speaks to me. I have made purchases that just don’t work in my home and cannot return. I cannot wait for the new candles!! 😍

I really appreciate how you strive to be so resourceful when redesigning or resetting your living space. I think we often forget to shop our house and check those storage bins before we shop. In this overwhelming phase of “influencing”, we can so easily be persuaded to consume and spend more money. And often times, more money than we have. I think you are so talented, creative and wise. Aww man you could have totally used cement to patch up that huge vase that broke! And then cover the entire thing to blend in the cracks and repainted it! I have done plenty of pot fixes on my channel bc I believe in saving the broken pieces and giving it a new life. ❤ I’m sorry that piece broke!

It can be disheartening😔 I really try to be realistic, I have 2 rambunctious boys and a family to feed and care for. My family always comes first (as it should be) I don’t mind a splurge here and there but in difficult times or seeing the times that might possibly be ahead I’d much rather save for a rainy day than have that “hot new item” if that makes sense. I appreciate your support so much, it really means so much! 💕

Just because they are a brown color doesn't mean they don't look good in the space no matter what time of year. Choosing colors you love and not spending money every few weeks on new decor makes much more sense to me. Too many KZreadrs just go out and spend money on decor just because they can I guess. I'm sure most of it ends up going to Goodwill or sitting in storage. Hoarding it's not very sensible.
