your most joyful moment is hitting cowbell :) great job as usual
putting aside the time for sound selection... the fact that he produced the whole song to almost exact replication in 20 mins is INSANE. I wish it was THAT easy
@elcapitan6126

it's a testament to how he practices: lots of habit building by repeatedly replicating tracks as fast as possible, initially ignoring the quality (quality would come with practice and fine tuning the habit)

The live cowbell gave me goosebumps.
One of the best basslines of the last decade. The whole of the Future Nostalgia album is an amazing showcase of bass.

Laughed out loud at the "Made it!!!" when you put the cowbell/woodblock in! Great deconstruction as always, thanks so much.
so ‘simple’ so powerful. love it, but i don’t usually like ‘pop’ music, this is on another level. great job.
This song is such a banger...still! Great breakdown and REconstruct of the track. Dua Lipas vox are so butter on that isolated track. Wow. Cheers all!
So great, love all your deconstruction videos, thanks!
So great to have a new deconstruction, and one of my fave songs of recent years too. Welcome back, Ski!
Great simply song pop with 80' vibe thanks funky bass lines, great vocalist and finally a great production on top tier level.
Can’t like this enough! Pretty outstanding work.
That was so awsome, amazed at how the individual sounds collaborated to make a one great track
ASOLUTE GENIUS! THANKYOU 4 DECONSTRUCTING THIS SORT OF SONGS❤
That was a great demo of putting this together. Thanks!
Great job thank you for the upload!
Great job! Very quickly very close to the original. And the bassline - wow!
Another Ski masterpiece. So good 😀😀👍
This is one of the songs of lockdown 1 for me… probably too old at 42 for tik tok but so many videos had this tune and although it was a mad time I do have some good memories of the time I wasn’t in work as a key worker, keeping safe at home watching TT I love these videos; they’re fab ❤
Thanks for this nice remake! Very deep and accurate. Will certainly help me in my project. Also MM Bass from Scarbee has really a unique Funky sound
live cowbell is the proof he loves what he does. Amazing tutorial, you can make a hit with so little tracks
Loved it-thanks!
I have learned a lot, thank you so much
I just love this video. Very cool!! Thanks
Mad skills!!! Amazing remake and video ❤
Thanks for the inspiring video !
Great video. I love seeing you get excited about the funky baseline. Reminds me of Nile Rodgers with Daft Punk.
This so great! Thank you
Awesome job. You rock :)

Amazing, as always...
Great stuff
You’re making it look so easy. Great job!
Amazing to hear it all broken down. Also amazing that while the exact chords/sounds are being used, it almost sounds nothing like the OG because of the “non quantized” elements of the original. Plus the drums are way more in the pocket. But this is still FIRE.
nice! this is to show how simplicity is the key
Beautiful as always Ski, lovely
i loved this very helpful and insightful would love to see this done with some hip hop tracks who else would like to see this too? thanks for the uploads
That was so satisfying and actually fun to watch
Great job Ski!!

Ski you are amazing Thank you for Wht u do
Would love a link to a downloadable project file to help with the learning process. Or a sample folder.
Next level thing, chorus on acoustic piano at th end.
You're sooo cooool !!!!
Hi man thank you for the great work! It would be AWESOME if you could show how to deconstruct "Premiers Symptômes" by the French Band "Air". I would LOVE to know more of this track! Thank youuuuuuuuu!!! ❤🙏

Love that video !!!! Thanks a lot, Do you guys know where could I find these kind of drums ? Is that some Ableton stock drums ?
which sound/vst are you using fpr the main piano? sounds so nice
Dua has credits for the writing as well!
Great job, from where your drums sounds come?
Amazing breakdown! What is the plugin/vst where he found the "breakdown/arp" track? He said something about "star of live performance".
Genius...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A few have alerady ask but . . .What Piano library / VST are you using ? Great video BTW
Impressive
how do you get that handy seperate piano keys so you can see what you are playing?
Wow That was a good Class
beast..
Although strings from SS pro2 sound almost exactly the same, I think Ian had used Orchestral Collections' VLNSRUN83 sample and added the sustain sample at the end.
Are you able to put a link of where you get the Acapella's?
Woow ❤️ what's the paino Vst used here ?

Yo how do you program a plugin into a drum rack @ 1:30 how do you do that? Because I have a plugin with drum sounds but i want to put it into a drum rack. Anyone know? or can reference a tut?
So entertaining. I love it. Everyone’s a critic right? The techno part at 17:12 should be at 17:11 it’s one of my fav parts. Let me know if that’s a worthy observation. FYI I was hoping you’d recreate the bridge “ don’t come out ow ow, don’t show up oh oh,’ where the vocals are warped and reversed or reverbed maybe. I just love this song. I’m glad u chose this song. It’s complicated for sure. Greta job professor.
Could you please make a deconstruction of TAKE YOU DANCING by Jason DERULO? It would be much appreciated! :) GREAT STUFF BTW!
Hey great video what piano vst are you using for the chords?
