Ok I thought I was crazy!! I was looking for it a while back because I had to learn it for something and needed it for inspiration because I really prefer this one over the other live performances where she dances but I couldn’t find it to save my life...

I'm honestly so proud by how much she's improved as a performer. Her stage presence is so damn strong now, whoa. You gotta respect and appreciate an artist that works hard to develop their craft and hone their skills.

I agree, but she can still improve more. She just needs to study the artists who are at the top of their game, live. If she doesn't want to do hard choreography, she can still move with more intent and stage presence, and also do more ad libbing to show new viewers how great her live vocals really are. Love her tho!

@@Kirigamiiii Sure. Carly Rae Jepsen's Julien, Minogue's entire Light Years album (Disco Down would be one song), and Gaga's Disco Heaven. Another good one is Ariana Grande's Greedy. I even heard a pretty cool Korean song called Dive recently by an artist called Lulileela that had a disco-meets-80s-synth-pop thing going. Disco revival has definitely been floating around pop this recent decade, but no single track has broken through to turn it into a full-blown thing. Maybe this Dua Lipa track will do the trick!

Jesus Christ, as a musician this blew me away!!! How old is she? and how does her band sound better live than on records? Dua, you should release a live album with this kind of arrangement quality. 10/10 better than anything on radio atm. AMAZING!

In my opinion, this is waaaaay much better than forcing her to dance a choreography with 100 back up dancers like in other performances of this song. I think this is hands down the best performance of 'Don't Start Now' that she has done.

Love the 70's and 80's club vibe of her music and the way a lot of vocalists have embraced that sound like gloria estefan, teena marie, taylor dayne etc to bring back the lightness and fun of those performances... even the breakdown where she had fun enough to hit the cowbell and interact with the band... that makes a solid live performance that evokes soul train solid gold and all those shows that had major performances of stars

Alicia and Adele are definitely great live and have great voices. Dua Lipa though has a good original style and the songs are pretty varied and appealing. I think more singers should do performances with a real band, and not an audio behind their singing. The band, especially THIS ONE gives soo much more energy and power to the song and an artist as well, so even people like me who don't listen to dua lipa can admire tjis performance! edit: lmao 3k

Hey, no pitch correction or quantization! Love it. Compare this to her supposedly "live" Tiny Desk Concert where there was so much post-production it didn't sound live at all. This is just a bunch of really tight musicians nailing a song. But you can tell it's all natural, as it should be.

True talent, very real so much energy!! She's so humble and sweet!! Love Dua Lipa 😃😃❤️

Such a cool, complex, and unique performance. I love how she engaged and interacted with instrumentalists and back up singers---the team effort adds a whole other dimension. I have a hard time hearing what she said to Jimmy at the end. Could anyone tell?
