I have observed this that the actors who are good at comedy does phenomenal job in serious roles. Like in Breaking bad and better call Saul, both the main characters Walter white & Saul goodman were played by Bryan Cranston and Bob Odenkirk who were famous in their comic roles previously.

Such a genuine person , truly a legend!!

Let me share one of my kissa, Sunday Doordarshan par jab shaam 4:00 baje movies aati thi to main movies isiliye dekhta tha kyunki movie ki main cast mein Johnny Lever kaa naam hota tha. JL hain matlab maza aayega.

In Malayalam cinema, many actors that started their career in comedy later transitioned to serious character roles, to the extent of winning prestigious awards for their performance. Salim Kumar, who was mostly known for his slapstick comedy films and unique comedic style, won a national award for playing a character much older than his real age. Mammukoya and Indrans are other examples of comedians who proved their versatility in performances where they were almost unrecognisable. The vice versa has also happened, i.e., actors who were known for serious roles, even negative roles, transitioning into comedy. There are many examples in Bollywood, including Prem Chopra, Shakti Kapoor, and the legendary Kadar Khan. An accomplished actor will seamlessly fit into any role he's asked to play.

Need more sound dampening in studio, too much echo while listening through headphones or on speaker

Johnny lever sir is an incredible artist. I think the amount of hard work he has put in on his natural talent is actually commendable. He is also underutilized in today's films. One more thing, Johnny lever's dancing skills are also super. I remember watching that salman karishma "chhamiya" song and as a kid my eyes used to be glued to Johnny ji on screen😂😂😂

Either you were entertained throughout and couldn't play into the energy OR you were a bit intimidated to have someone who, probably, you have laughed with and idolised growing up OR the edit omitted your shots of you vibing with him. I don't know the reason, but, for an episode about comedy with one of the most respected comedians of India just didn't seem to have that energy. I do know that there are other factors too like stardom and all but I'd rather not say anything about it because I don't know those aspects of Johnny bhai and I'd rather not spread the wrong word.
