This is epic. India needs more honest, inside views into music producer's lives and their tech setup and how they "actually" do stuff. Like how they get their hands dirty. Maza aa gaya Yashraj. Thoda existential bhi laga. Ki sala you're just 3 years elder to me. Need to speed up with my career lol. 🤯🔫🔥❤️

He has the kind of innocence we had as kids, like showing others around us every bit of pieces of things we owned, seen or made, how trivial that might be.

What a guy yar. Listening to his songs since childhood. My favourite composer/singer from India. He's so gentle, humble and passionate about music. Inspiration for me ♥♥

Salim-Sulaiman are one of the best Music Composers in our country ❤️ Wish them more success and wanna hear more songs from them 🙏

@Salim is very generous.. He is always down to earth and never fails to motivate other singers genuinely. Salim and Sonu Nigam are the best people of their fraternity.

10:58 - This was the question which really bothers me while making music because after some reiterating and listening the song continously, people get immune to the imperfections of the song. I used to think that, this only happens with me. Thank you Salim Sir for clarifying this doubt. Thanks Yashraj Sir for making this series, It's really gonna help budding music composers and musicians to get a deeper perspective of how songs are made.....

Got to learn so many nuances and possibly an idea of how a thought evolves and unfolds with each passing stage. Feeling very fortunate to witness your interactive video. It was a very warm experience. Lots of virtues to learn from Salim Sir too. Thank you for this video interaction. I am taking along with me, a treasury of learnings of giving birth to good music. May Music prevail in making the world a merrier space.

One day, I asked my English Teacher, "Why do we ignore some letters in pronunciation eg. the letter H ...in Hour, Honour. ...etc. ...?????? My English Teacher said, " We are not ignoring them; they're considered silent "....... (I was even more confused .....?????) During the lunch break, my Teacher gave me her packed lunch and asked me to heat it in the Cafeteria. I ate all the food and returned her the empty container. ....!!!!!!! My English Teacher : What happened? I told you to go and HEAT my food, you are returning me an empty container. I replied, "Ma'am , I thought 'H' was silent. 😂😂😂

I hardly understand the Hindi language but as a Bengali speaker/Google translator I can figure out most of the dialogue. As a home studio producer, I am always inquisitive about the workflow of established music producers. On top of it - I just personally feel out of many Hindi Music producers - Salim Merchant at heart is a good person which is so rare in modern times.
