ABOUT THE NODES:
For centuries nodes of the Moon 'Rahu' and 'Ketu' have baffled Vedic astrologers in terms of the results they give in their 'mahadasha' and 'antardasha'.
In fact, when it comes to analyzing their influence in a person's life from the perspective of transits, it becomes even more tricky as there doesn't really seem to be a consensus on how to look at and understand at their impact.
I have spent a lot of years reading, writing and researching on the topic of the 'nodes' and have been lucky to have received a lot of love and recognition for the same. In this series, I seek to share this knowledge with my viewers along with a very unique perspective that will not only help you understand the energy of the nodes but also how to channel that energy to fulfill your life purpose.
ABOUT NODAL RETURN:
Understanding the transits of the north and south node of the Moon 'Rahu' and 'Ketu' is intrinsic to understanding one's 'karma' and legacy in life.
The North node of the Moon signifies the soul's purpose in this lifetime and also its 'forward karma' i.e. what it is here to accomplish.
Whenever the North node, by virtue of transit, overlaps the natal placement of the North node in the native's chart, the native's life undergoes a sudden shift in the direction of fulfilling the unfulfilled purpose of 'Rahu' and releasing the unnecessary past life attachments associated with 'Ketu'.
Nodal return is a powerful period of change, realignment and swift forward movement in the direction of the native's life purpose.
The first time this happens is between the age of 17-19. (The last years of one's teenage.)
It's not surprising that massive changes accompany an individual's graduation of high school (or the subsequent dropping out).
Thereafter, this 'nodal return' takes place every 18 years and each time the native experiences a sharp pull in the direction of the North node and an 'ultimatum' of sorts to release the significations of 'Ketu'.
After the nodes have matured i.e. 42-48 years of age, the native experiences harmonious shifts that sort of stand out at him or her to catch attention and direct the native in the right direction.
This transit is felt a lot more deeply if the native is already undergoing the major or minor period of the nodes in their life.
Yes this can also influence to quite an extent on which end of the axis the result will be more deeply felt.
For example a nodal return happening when individual is undergoing 'Rahu mahadasha' will align the native strongly towards the 'Rahu' significations and a nodal return happening when the individual is undergoing 'Ketu mahadasha' will align the native strongly towards 'Ketu' significations i.e. matters of one's comfort zone/luck/spirituality/letting go/ancestral property etc.
Studying nodal return can give a very accurate timing of events in the individual's life.
