Deco Mesh Poof (Pouf) Wreath Tutorial/Peacock Wreath Tutorial [Beginner Wreath]

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This deco mesh poof (pouf) wreath tutorial will show my technique for making this wreath. I chose to use a peacock theme, so you will also learn how to make a peacock wreath! Peacock wreaths are popular year round, especially Spring, Summer, and Christmas. The poof wreath is a great choice for a wreath making beginners!
Supplies used for this wreath:
1 14 inch box wire wreath frame (Darice brand. It has 7 sections, where a Dollar Tree frame only has 6 sections)
1 roll 21 inch X 10 yard deco mesh
3 coordinating ribbons - 14 pieces of each color, cut 14 inches long (42 total pieces)
Pipe cleaners (14 cut in half for a total of 28)
Hot glue
Scissors
Feathers for embellishment

I have watched many, many wreath tutorials over the past few months from many wreath makers, and I have to say your tutorials are the best I have seen on KZread. You are clear and concise and easy to understand. You know the concepts of balance, symmetry, and dimension, and you are able to teach those concepts. All of your wreaths are gorgeous. Thank you so much for all your time and effort to share with us. You are an awesome teacher!

Kat, I have been watching you make wreaths for quite a while now. I have also been watching someone else. After months of being taught how to make Wreaths we were informed that we are not allowed to use her techniques because she has a trademark. How are we supposed to learn or or go into business or whatever if we’re not allowed to use a persons techniques because we learn from that person. I love the way you answer questions while making your wreath and it doesn’t slow you down.

Copyright and trademark laws can get a little sticky because they're generally as clear as mud when it comes to arts and crafts. I'm not an expert on that topic, or a lawyer, so I'm really not in a position to comment too much on that. To my knowledge, a technique is one of the things that can't be copyrighted, although a designer's formal instructions and final product can be. Once again, I'm not an expert, and I would recommend doing your own research and/or contacting that designer personally for clarification.

I have been watching many tutorials over the past several months on new craft ideas and wreaths, and this was the best tutorial I have ever seen! You made everything so easy to understand. You can be sure I will be following you on Facebook to see what else you do! Have a wonderful day and God bless you always! Sincerely, Tracey
