Cute idea!!! I thought your video was a very descriptive tutorial. My suggestion is a list of supplies in the description bar & possibly a link to the deco mesh you got via Amazon. That helps me to snag supplies right away.

Fantastic job on the heart shaped flower. How many rolls of 10" mesh did this take to make? Can this be made with the 5" mesh from dt? TFS. Have a fabulous week! Take care. Blessings

Thank you! It took only 1 roll of mesh. It's possible to use the DT mesh but it might be a lot more work since your petals will only be 5 inches and could take two petals to compensate for the one 10 inch petal

Did you add 1 more petal for each round? I noticed you started with 1 then went to 2 petals on next round, but I couldn't see if you added an extra petal on each new row

It is really pretty, yet I do not think it would fit on a door that also has a screen door in front. Great job on matching the arrow bits so they look like one straight arrow, I do not think I can confidently do that.

How do you know where to begin petals on plastic mesh and how far apart are they?

I started directly in the middle of the canvas. I didn't really measure it at the time, but looking at it now the first set of petals (which were the 2 petals) is about 5 squares away from the center (about half an inch). Then the next set (the 3 petals) are about half an inch from the center. So all the petals were about half an inch from the previous petal. Hope that helps

Will the hot glue hold up in. Direct sunlight?

I haven't had this particular wreath in direct sunlight but I have a different one that's been outside in direct sunlight, rain, heat, for about 5 months and it's still holding on!

On a larger scale, same concept but you'd probably need to add more petals as the center gets bigger - my last layer on the plastic canvas, I used 4 petals then did the wrapping. So depending on how big your center gets you might have to add 5 or 6 petals at a time.
