Might just have to buy the bullet and get it, like others have said I wish Orbitkey sold a version without the wireless charger option and a $50-60 pricepoint seems right for this.

Thank you for watching and that’s a good point! I lower priced option without the charger would be great as the organizer on its own is still really useful!:)

Kind of wish they had another version without the charger for people who don't have devices that charge that way.

The Qi/Wireless charging is only done when you connect a charger to it or a power cable

@@geekindakitchen But then this product isn't for you then....its an added feature that I'd say majority of people nowadays have a wireless charging phone and/or watch, earbuds etc

Will a Logitech MX Anywhere fit inside this or is the mouse too tall?

the wireless charger is not wireless, you need to connect it to an outlet for it to charge, which renders it absolutely useless, because a normal charger will actually charge faster

I found bigger power banks didn't work well either I am currently looking at 5K Mophie that might actually fit tightly in this orbitkey nest. In Australia if you have a pocket knife out in the open your likely to end up in jail for the night, so I try to leave my multi tools and knives at home personally but I realise other parts of the worlds have different rules.

Hey Danny, great review, nice watch strap too. I was looking forward to seeing you talk about, use and explain the built in wireless charger with the plug in the top lid but unless I missed it you didnt talk about it? Interesting case nevertheless

Thank you for watching Dean and great question! I walked through it super briefly at around the 5:11 mark but I can add a time code in the description for anyone who’s looking to see it in action. Overall it works about as well as many other simple wireless chargers I’ve used. unfortunately with iPhones it always seems like wireless charging is very slow but it’s still nice to have the phone be charging when you are able to sit and plug the organizer into a wall outlet or power bank :)

@@dannypacks ah yeah I understand. 3rd party wireless chargers usually are slower but seems like an interesting organiser for work. I couldn’t imagine taking it for travel because it’s so rigid and looks heavy

Yup I agree the weight in particular will likely make this a no go for a lot of travel so definitely more of an edc / working from home or a coffee shop type item :)

I think you might have your credit card in the wrong pocket. I think it was ment to fit into the one down below it by your SD card.
