I've been following for some time now and what draws me to your videos(except your energy, perhaps) is your mindset: you keep praising yourself for the things you accomplish and you seem to be forgiving with your flaws. Its like being re-parented i think - Remi gives us the freedom to get off our own backs with her charming brand of self-care & self-approval. For some of us, its the first time hearing another adult do that ❤

My Sisters friends Husband refers to them as "yetti balls". Ive stolen that description now,lol. I forget to remove them after showering sometimes when in a hurry😅... My Husband isnt very appreciative of that,lol

I began to watch you a couple of months ago when you popped up on FB. After a few weeks I looked you up on YT and subscribed. This is my first time commenting and I don't subscribe to many people, I've only one other cleaning subscription and it's American. What drew me to your site is that it's real, it's normal and it's more identifiable. Even though we've no children left at home I still remember how hard it was even in a small council house when they were small and the storage issues. Your an absolute gem Remi, I love watching you, you’re a great little cleaner. Years ago I used to wash all my floors on my knees 😉 It’s a good way to wash the skirting boards too. Today I’d find it hard to get down, and I’d most likely be unable to get up. Cleaning house throughly, is a great physical work out as well.

@3:00 I can totally recommend getting stainless steel "drain strainers", it will catch all the hair instead of it going down the drain and blocking it, I've had them for years both in the bathtub and kitchen sink (catches food bits) and they work great!

Just be careful mixing those chemicals. I noticed when you cleaned the tub you also sprayed another cleaner on the grout around it. Depending on the chemicals you're using, you could accidentally create a chemical reaction with very unhealthy fumes. I'm all about saving time.. just be safe!

That's really great to point out. I have almost died from toxic reaction mixing bleach and some other cleaner. I left it on surfaces for a while and passed out like 5 seconds after entering in bathroom. I was lucky because I wasn't home alone. Since that event I have never mixed any chemicals 😊

I have watched youtube cleaning and organising videos for years (mainly americans as that's all there was!). You are just so real and honest, I love it. I have 2 disabled children and also suffer from autism, ADHD and executive dysfunction myself. I work full time as an A+E nurse so don't have a lot of time. My kitchen cupboards, like yours and many others are so dark - especially corner ones? I’ve invested in rechargeable motion sensor lights when the doors open - absolute game changer 👍

Kudos! I have used SOS or Brillo pads on stubborn tile stains. Where I live, they use a lot of tile and some of it has a rough texture (for non slip surfaces). Those ones clean up better with a brush and either a scrubbing powder or baking soda. Hair in the drain is blech. We bought a plastic "plug" that sits in the drain hole and catches it before it can go down. It tends to pool water quickly, but that makes me consistant about keeping it cleaned out. So glad Ike is letting you get some down time now!

I love your voice overs 😂 I do the same thing with my hair when I wash it. I have a thyroid disorder and sometimes I shed a million long hairs. I wipe it in the wall to get later, and always forget. My husband says "I think the girl from The Ring has been in our shower again" 😂

I find your voice so relaxing. Every night i watch your videos to fall asleep. Not just that, but it's really sensitive of you to take this up. People really judge us well are different. I like a week organised house but i have deep health anxiety and don't do anything when my child is unwell. Just because all my attention is focused on her. After the danger of illness has passed i clean the house. But visitors comment how bad the house is and it makes me feel worse off. Thank you for your voice.

There are plastic drain covers with suction cups on Amazon, shaped like a star. They work great!

I enjoyed this. I am in my 70’s and can’t get up easily if I get down so I’m trying to learn how-to clean without getting on the floor. The fact we try and find good equipment like a mop on a wand helps . Then I wipe up with a towel and my foot.
