Went to the front for the first act - stayed for 4 hours to see him. Was 100% worth it screamed every lyric. As a massive Bowie and Elton fan he is the closest fresh LEGENDARY performer

Declan doesn't just grow up, but also upgrades, develops his music. Each of his performances is different and with a unique interpretation. I envy, nobly, all of you who have been to Declan McKenna's concert.💙

i went to the brixton show on friday night and it was the best experience of my life, he really is incredible

So glad his songs are finally getting recognition for their elton john style

3:28 The look on that drummer's face after that fill...just imagine how she must have been feeling there. What an incredible performance.

i absolutely LOVE the studio version but he NEEDS to release an alternate/live version with this breakdown

Never listened to this guy but was brought to his set by a couple of friends and was turned a fan by the end of it. Great experience and what a performer.

Highly recommend seeing him irl this song genuinely had a few people around us sobbing it was truly magical

Declan makes his songs in a simple yet beautiful way, I wish I could hear it live

Easily one of the best songs of the century.

He was in the year above me at school! I still remember the performances he did! Still amazing to this day. Loved the instrumental part !! Wow 🥺

dec's so amazing, you can tell that his voice was tired cuz he changed some parts of the melody that went to high but that just makes it even more amazing. the guy can sing this song better than the studio version but he can recognize when it's not possible (probs cuz he had used his voice like hell befofe this part of the concert) and still puts on an awesome show, it doesn't sound strained at all.

Please someone release the full set it was unreal

All of them are such great musicians, but wow Gabi and Isabel were amazing.

Imagine the effort and practice they put into this song to change it. They were sooo excited for us to listen to this small change (which they nailed). And that expression and excitement makes other people feel like that too. So yeah AMAZING.

@@g4kfjve7kfj34 His music is not rock, it is Indie Rock. I do understand your point of Muse and The Cure, but the festival selected this line up to make money, yk? Even though this rock bands are great, a lot of young people don’t listen to them. So it wouldn’t be good for the festival. Also maybe they are expensive to have idk. And for Declan, First of all, he is the most Rock singer there was in this festival (if I remember) and second he makes me think that if all the great rock bands were still as famous as they were (The Beatles, David Bowie, Queen, Elton John, etc, etc) this is the kind of music they would be realising. (Idk if it makes sense). Whatever, I recommend you to listen to all of his music :) his got great lyrics too.

@@vesselanew Jazz variation is nice and surprising, maybe not very suitable to the song... Ah, we would have had so much fun at the Declan concerts! Sigh 😢 also exciting to see him on stage with Sam Fender. Beautiful if they recorded something together. Even they're so different (Bowie/Springsteen), have similar ideas. I have to listen to more Orla's songs! For the rest, only communication problems.
