No need! The New Systems have the integrated D-Ring Tie Downs built in!
Could these be installed directly to the bottom of the bed?

Can't you do the same thing with shallow unistrut?

Yes you can. People have done all kind of custom add ons by drilling into the steel tubes like that. If you install after market stuff instead of deck system septic add ons , it voids the warranty. I'm a plumbing and hvac contractor and we installed Etracks like that and they work great.
dimples do not line up with holes in trax.. tried sliding towards cab, towards tailgate, flipped trax, tried on both sides of bed… nothing worked.

@@adamwest3637 I ended up selling my decked system. Great for organizing but felt like so much wasted space. I never got to install the track system.
I SERIOUSLY AM SO EXCITED ABOUT MY SYSTEM GETTING INSTALLED ON THE 1/13/23 THAT I CANT SLEEP ANYMORE.
