blade runner was pretty retro classic but the new blade runner with the modern dystopian vibes captured the youth more than any films even tho people didnt like it at first when it came out

Agreed, amazing how Ridley Scott’s Bladerunner has connected with so many since its release… I was lucky to witness it first time round way back in ‘82 at the Cinema & was astounded by its groundbreaking visuals & of course Vangelis soundtrack is truly iconic… i think it perfectly evokes the ‘existential melancholy’ & isolation many of us feel in the modern world despite all the technical innovations in communication that surround us… Bladerunner remains my all time favourite movie…

Sometimes people just need a game with an atmosphere like this, a game where you can walk down dark corridors and see a glittering city outside. Environmental games are best for people to escape this reality and can reflect, calm hearts and heal mind. I intend to make a horror game where the player will be able to enjoy some of this peace and solitude.

There are parts of the Cyberpunk 2077 game that reach this level of atmosphere, but they're few and far between(it's mostly punk, needless to say). Deus Ex might be the closest one for me.

Hmmm.....why I dont like rain and city scapes. Rain is symbolic of tears and pain in nightmares, did you know that? The cold city with rain is so desolate, unyielding, despair. Like grief personified. There is nothing romantic or edgy in that the way they pretend in movies. Anyone out in the rain in some city like that isnt trying to pose the right way feeling like some badass rebel smoking in the corner like Harrison Ford. No. Its miserable sickening pit level loneliness and despair and anxiety. Not the good kind of isolation that we choose at will.....no...its the forced isolation and internal sickness from betrayal, pain, grief, heartache. The kind that swallows you and you just feel dead inside like life isnt worth living anymore and youre screaming in misery to get out of the waking nightmare.

Are you ever going to go back to making space and alien-planet themed videos WITHOUT rain sounds in them? Or, is this channel only doing rain videos now? Just curious because your older non-rain videos are great for studying. But, all your recent stuff has rain sounds, so I can't listen to it, even though I like the music itself. Way too many channels are doing this "constantly raining" theme and honestly, it's terrible for those of us who hate rain and love MUSIC! I hope this feedback helps!

@@Midnight_Lantern Yeah, I love a lot of this channel's older content but the constant rain effect isn't my thing. A lot of people find it relaxing but I listen to it as I write sci-fi...So, I'm like, "Can this planet PLEASE stop raining?" 🛸👽🌧😂 Hopefully, they'll go back to making actual music again soon. Lots of channels seem to be following this "rain" trend and honestly, I've unsubscribed to a few because of it.

@@dahlialightwood563 Hence my words. I HATE RAIN and city scapes. They actually create a physical response of anxiety and despair. Like a nightmare. Its psychologically very disturbing. I love wind, fantasy, dark, space, night and thunder. Those are my element. I have unsubbed to all channels that intend on drowning their audience in a city street.

@@Midnight_Lantern 😂🤣 I never actually considered that but yeah, I have anxiety and I do notice rain effects make me anxious and groggy and mostly, they mess up my writing. I write sci-fi and I like to write about SPACE, so I want futuristic, spacey music, not rain. Rain is not futuristic!
