Great pod guys! By the way, your bezerk fling idea will absolutely work. The end step is the of turn. You could deal combat damage and you still have the end of combat step and the second main phase before you lose your bezerked atog 👍

Thanks for listening and thanks for the tip! That's what I'm thinking as well. I should be able to attack, Berserk, and deal combat damage during the combat phase of the turn, then cast Fling during the post-combat main phase.

Just made it to the top 4 in an ALICE event running W/U. It's such a fun format, low power cards but intense game play. Could have made it further but my deck decided that I needed lands six turns in a row mid-late game.

Great video! Thanks guys. Complimentary information on the mono white deck, the Scars of the veteran does save games vs. a lethal Lava Burst, but yeah, it wasn't the best card in the deck. Sometimes Exil is useless in the deck so it gets easily pitched to the Scars of the Veteran. You mentioned cool variants using the catapult to finish creatures, another one is to block with your knight, give it first strike, resolve first strike damage and then use catapult with the knight or another creature to finish a creature! The deck also curves really well, love to put out an early Knight or a turn two Pit trap. Deck has no real response to an opponents Kjeldoran Outpost, so it struggles vs. Red/White decks that use outposts and destroy lands...Hydroblasts to mitigate that. Black card Stench of Evil destroys all plains... 2 islands and 4 Adarkar wastes keeps you alive.

Thanks for the great comment. I sometimes forget that there is a separate first strike damage step. Love the deck. I need to put it together myself and give it a spin. I'm starting to build an Ice Age/Alliance collection and hope to start putting together an ALICE deck or two later this year.

if you add a lifeline to the atogatog list... shenanigans! get them all returned after use! (Whenever a creature dies, if another creature is on the battlefield, return the first card to the battlefield under its owner's control at the beginning of the next end step.)

@@oldmagemtg7008 add some removal too, seton can be a very good deck because druïds can tap even with manasickness if seton is out. So he will be ramping manaman- Kill on sight! 😜

In ALICE, Exile is a better card than Reprisal, there aren't enough large creatures that see consistent play.
