I've had a tarot deck for almost a decade and have pulled it out for advice here and there while still learning the card meanings. I found out about deck interviews last month so I tried it. I still had to refer to a book to get the meanings, but the cards told me they'll show me my bad habits, won't sugar coat anything and don't like when I ignore their advice! I actually apologised to the cards 😁 but I get it. It's like having a friend who only calls you when they need advice but never take it. I'd get annoyed too lol

I am having so much fun interviewing my decks. It's remarkable. They speak clearly to me and I feel spiritually supported. Thanks.

What a good idea this interview with a deck! It's so true every tarot deck has its own qualities and by this way somes typical better uses. Thanks for transmitting this circular way of thinking!

I finally, Finally found my new deck. My first deck is working on 15 years old and looking back, never really did speak to me. But I found one that sang to me as all the choirs of angels. Hahaha I bought the Deviant Moon deck and I am so in love! Thank you so much for sharing this information. I have just recieved in the mail a view days ago my first Tarot deck from Ciro Marchetti's ,Tarot of Dreams and Oracle deck from Sandra Anne Taylor, Energie Oracle Cards. I did the interview with both of them but I really became emotional with the Oracle deck and cried with every card that was the awnser to the quistion I asked. Very beautiful, warm, loving and respectful and it all connected with me before I looked at the written text. I gave both my decks a name that came spontaneously to me. It's the right time and moment that they came in to my life, it's a new start for me and because these decks are my first they will always be special. The interview with my decks gave me insight, I'm new with this so I will watch you video's for guidance.

I asked “what are you going to teach me” and the two of swords popped up lmfaoooo this deck is about to roast my life. I’m ready.

I just interviewed my deck and I feel quite satisfied with the cards I drew. This was really interesting. I'm a beginner, but my interpretation is this: 1. Judgement - This deck will talk about change. It's good for rarer occasions, and will talk about bigger life-changes rather than small everyday changes. 2. 3 of cups - It's strength is that it doesn't judge anyone and everyone is welcome to talk with this deck. Emotions and communication between this deck and anyone who interacts with it will be harmonious. 3. Knight of Swords - it's weakness is that it can bring a lot of discussions. Many different opinions that are presented maybe at the same time. I don't think it's arguing, but more debate-like discussions where multiple people have strong and different opinions. 4. Temperance - I like this one especially - It ill teach me how to find - or bring me in the right balance in life. It will help me in my search to become my ultimate self. It´think it will also help me with connecting more to my art. 5. The Emperor - they way I can best learn from it is to take charge. I'm not a very bossy person, so I take this card as that I have to be stronger in making decisions and believe in my decisions as well. 6. 3 of swords - It seems to me that the deck will be my help in making choices where my heart says one thing and my mind something else. Perhaps I will eventually make one big choice based on this deck?

I am so excited as I just interviewed my first deck ever!! I am still very new to the tarot, to the point where I still don't know the meaning of each card and am currently doing daily drawings to get to know the cards more. I did try to interpret (with the help of the booklet :'D) my interview but I found it pretty hard to understand a few of the answers.. I came across this spread too! It was very interesting to try out, I really like it. Another thing I do, personally, to get to know a deck it to spend time with the cards individually. I tell it things, and try to feel for a reaction. I've come to really feel individual personalities from the cards and it's been great, and I can somewhat also get a feel for how they fit into the deck as a whole as well. To break in a deck, I also tend to carry it around with me. I dunno, I feel like keeping it in one room doesn't really allow either the deck or myself to open up to each other. It's a feeling, but until I do it the deck feels like a closed door that won't let me see anything on the other side (Edit: Oh well I wrote this near the middle of the video, but you mentioned talking to the cards directly)

I got my very first deck today (it’s the Shadowscapes deck) and decided to do a deck interview, was wondering if I could get some help interpreting Q1-What is your most important characteristic? -seven of cups Q2-what are your strengths as a deck? - King of pentacles Q3- what are your weaknesses as a deck ? -eight of swords (in reverse) Q4- what are you here to teach me? -seven of swords (in reverse) Q5- how can I best learn from you? -king of swords Q6- what is the possible outcome of our relationship? -king of pentacles I journaled what my initial reactions were to these cards but am still unsure especially about questions 3-6. Any insights or guidance from those more practiced would be so nice:)

Nice deck, but i think the dreamer's tarot by barbara moore comes up for me for doing shadow work, it's got a deeper tone to the shadow side that we sometimes avoid or don't want to question but it's there within this deck. Nice vid..

Karolina my deck used is the Element Tarot by caroline smith and John Astrop i got strength the sun and last card the Choice #6 or Lovers is 3 Majors...i have always know my deck is very spiritual and deep ...at times very challenging cause it and the Unicorns are my only decks but i still very much Love the beauty of them. Great video, thank you! I am just starting out on my tarot journey, I used this "Deck Interview" as a way to get to know my cards better. So I interviewed my first deck ever! The deck I have chosen is called. "Mystical Manga Tarot", art by Rann and text by Barbara Moore. I actually got it at my local Barnes and Noble. I looked on amazon for a few days at decks, but I was not 100% in love wth any I liked. So I decided to go out and look at the book store. As soon as I saw this box set I was in love and even hugged it tight! Haha silly. I was actually hoping if anyone more experienced had some time, could help me better understand a few of the cards I drew in correlation with the questions. I did ask all 6 questions in the same order Karolina did. Here were my results for question 1.) I got "King of Swords" for question 2.) I drew "7 of Coins" question 3.) I got "3 of Swords" so that is where I really had a hard time trying to understand the answer. Question 4.) I had "10 of cups" question 5.) "6 of Swords" this one was also quite tough for me to understand and for the final question 6.) "Temperance" thanks in advanced if anyone is willing to shed some light on my results especially the two cards that were hard for me to interpret as an answer to the question. I just did this with my deck and I also got the lovers reversed for question 4! our decks must be on the same wavelength lol

Hey! I like your video. I too receently found out about interviewing decks... Such a great idea. So I started talking to them and found out that the seventh sphere lenormand deck is like a parent to me. Specifically a Father. Lol... I jave this crazy idea that you can build a family out of decks. You just need to find the right ones! Lol... 😍😍😍

I truly love this and such a great idea to treat the deck like its living breathing which it kind of is but anyhow I am a little lost on the interpretation of drawing cups twice for two different opposing questions?

First deck king of wands, 5 of swords, queen of pentacles, 5 of wands, 6 of swords, xx judgement from first deck and second deck knave of wands, the moon, 3 of pentacles, 4 of swords, 1magician, 111 the empress. Hi Karolina, I just got my hands on the Fountain deck and interviewed it. I got King of Coins for "most important characteristics" and Wheel of Fortune for "deck strengths". I'm very new to tarot (to be honest, I started only after watching your videos lol) and this result confused me.. Aren't these two conflicting? This question aside, I really enjoy all of your tarot videos and learned so much from them! Thanks a lot for sharing!

Karolína Dobrovská thank you so much for the reply! I totally agree with your interpretation! And I have to admit that this deck is a bit too abstract for me at times. But I just couldn't let go the beautiful art works it has. I feel like at the times that I successfully get the message from the deck, the art amplifies the message and leaves me with a much more profound understanding.

This was a very interesting read! I recently received my very first deck- The Fountain Tarot! I am so in love. It’s absolutely stunning and I don’t think I could have picked a better beginners deck. So something interesting happened with 3 of the questions I asked it. For the limitations the deck may have it showed me the King of Cups. Now okay, maybe it means that it may not always be kind and compassionate, that sometimes it can show me harsh truths. I then asked what it is here to teach me and it showed me the King of Cups again, but reversed. And so I take this to mean that it has pointed out some areas of my life that i may need to work on. But two questions later, when I ask what the possible outcome of our collaboration is, it showed me the King of Cups again! This time right side up. I am scratching my head that it has shown me this card three out of six times. And I have shuffled 3 times between each question. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Karolina Kvas Thank you for the advice! I sat with it for a few days and gave my deck a rest. Decided to do a reflection reading tonight and what do you know? It showed me the King of Cups again, in its shadow meaning! I then asked what is so important about this card, and why do you keep showing me this? I drew the Page of Wands reversed, and the Queen of Swords. I am getting an extremely strong vibe that it is trying to tell me something very important...

I got knight of pentacles as a weakness of my tarot deck. I am wondering maybe I should not use it for consulting about materialistic world.

The cards that came up for me were 2 major arcana, 2 court cards, and 2 minor arcana cards (not in that order), is my deck good for both day to day and larger life questions then?

I am a littler nervous. I asked the 6 question. My first answer was ace of swords. Second answer was reversed two of wands. Third answer was reversed three of swords. Fourth answer was reversed queen of cups. Fifth was reversed 8 of pentacles and my sister answer was the moon. I am going through a very difficult time in my life and I'm not sure what to make of these cards. Kind of sounds like I am doomed ☹️

I am new to tarot and the deck I am using came with a book that does not have any shadow meanings. So when I asked how can I best learn and collaborate with you and what are your strengths, I got an upside down king of bows, adders, both times.Wildwood deck. Any thoughts on how to interpret this?

What do you do if you interview a deck and get consistent warning messages about lack of trust, about disloyalty?

Hi, Carolina! I know you meant this for Karolina, and if I may I would like to include *my* interpretations for your deck interview. I'm going to assume that the deck interview you did for your deck is the same as Karolina's. 1. What are your most characteristics? - 8 of Wands tells me that this is a deck that may like to "have at it" or it's a deck that likes to do readings at a pace of where it helps you grow as a tarot reader and build an enthusiastic and passionate relationship with it. 2. What are your strengths? - 3 of Swords tells me that this deck is the type that will provide clear readings; it doesn't BS and it may help people who are going through a heartbreak or depression. I imagine that if this deck is a person then it would be those serious people where they may come across as cruel when they're really just being honest. 3. What are your limits? - Queen of Coins... Interesting. The Queen of Coins is a card where the queen is passive, kind, and nurture... I'm guessing this can mean that your deck isn't good at trying to be appear "kind" (referring to the 3 of Swords of where is brutally honest); the deck may not be good at reading practical or material matters. 4. What are you here to teach me? - The Empress is a card of femininity and nurture, and this deck may be here to teach how to nurture and grow as a person when you give readings; it can also mean to grow when you are building a relationship with it. 5. How can I best learn and collaborate with you? - The Empress in this context would probably mean to treat yourself and the kind with kindness and grace. The deck may want you to treat it with respect. It's important that you pay attention to what the cards are saying rather than to refer to the book. You can be creative when you give readings. 6. What is the possible outcome of our collaboration? - The Dreamer: I'm not sure what this means as it's not in the traditional tarot... So you may have to interpret on your own. I'm a beginner at Tarot so please everything I say with a grain of salt!

I got a lot of the same things and appreciate it because it’s confirmation for me that I am intuitively interpreting and understanding what I’m getting from my cards. The dreamer is the “0” in the major arcana in traditional tarot. I’d love to know what that interprets as for you as well. Again thank you very much. I truly appreciate it.
