Decision Matrix Analysis
Decision Matrix Analysis is a useful tool to use when considering a number of similar-looking options.
In this video, we look at examples of both a Simple Decision Matrix and a Weighted Decision Matrix.
The weighted decision matrix template mentioned in the video can be downloaded for your own use here: goo.gl/58SQnU

Short and effective! What else can we ask for? Great job!
Thank you. This video has saved me in decision-making.
thanks, this made me a huge difference in practical life decisions, very nice video....

Hi
About to make a major decision and this video helped
Please, is the spreadsheet sufficient to implement the decision matrix or It is better to have a dedicated web app tool for that?
thank you for the well explained video
Q - how do you use decision tree for unknown results or criteria, would you please address the query. thank you!
Thank you for your video 😊👍
Thanks, this helped me understand what I thought was a complex subject. Next time, just pick one example and run with it.
Amazing sir, thanks for sharing
Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
I need a decision matrix to help decide which decision matrix method is best to use..
thank you so much, it really helped me.

How about Project Evaluation Matrix?
is decision matrix analysis useful for student's academic performance?

Hi
This is good if you only have 1 stakeholder, how do you do the scoring if you have 10 stakeholders?
can anyone help me to how to download the templates from the link?

Follow the link at the bottom of the video which takes you to the companion article for this video. The link to download the template is at the bottom of that article.
Reduction of simple-decision-matrix simplified to T-chart can result in pairs of pros-cons - contunuum-range maintained, category clarity as title. Square made up of, top, title-category, bottom-halves of pros-cons. The squares can be linked like flow-charts and the properties also linked, but like expanding drop-down lists of details. And words highlighted and linked to specific definition in declared dictionary. This sub-set should build to a candle-stick graph of high-lower operating-range and higher-lower sampling-range (discount typical anomalies of top-bottom 10% is often needed to find median-trend). This is how humans think and use properties of feng-shui plate and kungfu and react quickly. Typically, people don't react to wives (trained-practiced non-reaction, especially to terminologies like "buy, money, more"), or prejudiced terminologies... While some cultures conjure terminologies and acronyms to feed politicians' conceit-ego, the scientists themselves are not-better, the women themselves are more-susceptible (how did they learn-know attack strategy). How to deal with pollution chemical-biological names.? Get medical-doctors and PhD.sss to go pompous on class-A laboratories and never come out from those cave-tunnels.
This approach pretends that it is quantitative, but it is not, its a fool's mission. How do you ensure robust quantification (unless you have used pairwise comparisons)? Are all scales the same? Do the 'weights' mean the same thing in each category? Are some categories linear, some logarithmic, some hyperbolic? Who knows? How is cost a 'quality' that gets a score, when it is a threshold parameter. The calculation, if there is one, should be the dollars per evaluated point of the non cost items. Are there threshold parameters and 'drop-dead' parameters? They are binary and cannot be scored.
