Same I was so confused I was like “I thought I knew Morse code? Guess I don’t.” Then I went to go look at my Morse code cheat sheet and got the same results and was confused on if that even was Morse code. Glad to know it is Morse code the devs just had to make everything even more complicated.

Zuria is the one who is actually suffering from Loneliness Syndrome, and she is coping with the loss of her son who drowned via a fantasy world in which he (which she projects upon Thelxie for) survived. Additionally, maybe there will be some parallels between her and Freminet over the both of them being "left behind," Zuria through losing her child, and Freminet through being left at the House of the Hearth by his deceased mother at a young age. Or maybe I'm completely wrong, and it'll be completely wholesome.

@@supremeoverlord0although that would be an amazing plot twist i dont think its possible bcz when u go to their house(on top of mountain where zuria pointed initially) and knock on it, the doctor says that hes mending to a patient who needs rest and tells us to leave According to what u said maybe zuria IS the one inside the room And if tgat does happen, this would be still one of the best event quests for me

I’ve been learning Morse code and as soon as I saw Thelxie talking in it I panicked. It was like a pop quiz for me 😭

There was one more line of code in the dialogue: -.. .--. -. --.- -... .... --- .--- ..-. which decodes to DPNQBHOJF. When deciphered it's the word "compagnie" or company in English.

There are 3 notes by Freminet in and around the tent. If you read one of them (I believe it was the 2nd one, where he describes reusing the cipher that the Fatui uses), it will hint at shifting the index by 1, with the "1" highlighted in blue.

@@crown4212fun fact, hoyo has used ciphers before. they used it in a tweet as a secret announcement for an irl event, i got really excited when i figured it out lol.

Just to emphasize what Telxie says. In french, it's "Ça va", but because the latin alphabet is mainly used for morse code, it would be confusing for some words that uses brackets to be read

Indeed, I was kinda confused when initially deciphering this because I got CAVA, which in Portuguese (my native language), means "to dig". I was like "dig? What we're digging?". Until I saw the wiki and it was mean to be a Ç, but there's no code for cedilla in morse code so they just used C. (¯ヮ¯٥)

yea, also as a portuguese speaker (comes from lartin like french) cava has nothing to do with ça va, the way of saying it and meaning are nothing alike

Damn, I knew it was morse code the first time I saw it. Tried to decipher it myself but ended up getting nothing so I figured maybe it has another layer of encryption. But I was too lazy (+not knowledgeable enough)to further decipher it. Good to know it was french and how nice the penguin is

I think this is my fav event from now on. Freminet is a great character, the gameplay and mecanics were fun and the story is so deep and touching... I loved it, and now that I've seen this, it has definitively won a place in my heart.

me too, this 100% goes up there with 2.4's lantern rite, 3.8's magic bottle land, 3.1's weinlesefest, & both windblume events. it's so dark, and it's very unique and interesting for that. i already suspected i was going to enjoy the event since freminet is one of my favorite characters, but after playing through all of it i underestimated how much i would love it.

This event honestly made me cry so much, it was so sad but really sweet at the same time :(

Hoyo putting Morse into this event got me really hyped, and the Morse translating into Cipher made it even better. Point taken, ARG when?

The fact that i didnt even heard nor see the morse code is just 🤸🕳️

I never thought an event can be deep. BUT this event, [Event Not-So-Spoiler] I cried so bad listening to Zuria's lullaby. And throughout the whole event, it feels like there's so much foreshadowing. Freminet, Paimon and the little adventure. Maybe I'm just overreacting.

Why is the evnt animation one of the most beautiful scenes i have ever seen in game

I knew something wasn't right when they all being happy........this event hit WAY too close to home.....

The way this event destroyed everybody and then gave us a notebook to be reminded of this event

Knowing that Thelxie was greeting and speaking with the traveler all along is so cute

"rêver" is actually a french verb :) it translates to "dreaming" rather than "dream", "rêve" is "dream", a dream.

this event was so fun, it touched my heart

If you look at Freminet's development logs in his camp, it says that he uses the codes that is used in the House of the Hearth as the output signals for Thelxie, and the logs also mention that he set the offset to 1 which explains the caesar shift.

I tried translating the morse code the first time we met thelxie but it was some random letters, but that's because it's not the caesar cipher shift one however it would also be nice to know what he said

as a french speaker I'd like to specify that Rever is the verb to dream. Dream as a noun would be Reve instead.

Aint gonna lie this event had better story than most genshin since it was to the point without dialogue that could be omitted.
