I have noticed that liars sometimes gulp before they lie. I found this out because of a situation and exposure of a experienced deceptive person.

My ex always took a deep breath and then cleared his throat before lying, as though he was trying to slow appear more calm or slow himself down. But it always came across as forced and unnatural. Turns out it's his "tick" when he lies

All of these "tells" and how to spot them, doesn't serve any purpose other than making everyone paranoid. If you feel someone is a liar or dishonest, stop associating with the person and liars can't remember the lies so they'll eventually get things wrong.

even if a person is relaxed an u ask em a question they will still lie in ur face an Deney it an say that its all in ur head crap talk...if a person is a liar they are a liar doesn't matter what mood u ask them in..an wen u do ask em an they feel that u caught em out they will jst end up screaming an yelling in ur face an say that they didn't do anything knowing u no that they did...

So I had to come back because I’ve been watching these lie detector videos. The one I just watched after this one said their Number 1 thing to look for is hand gestures. Excessive gestures mean a person is being deceptive. They say excessive hand gestures is how people will release nervous energy when lying.

They might just be releasing nervous energy for other reasons. They might have Asperger's syndrome (autism). People with AS are notorious for exaggerated hand gestures/body language.

It's difficult to diagnose with so little information, but it's definitely not a good sign. I don't know the context that this person tends to do it, but generally it implies a lack of respect for the other person involved and often a feeling of superiority of the person doing the eye rolling.

What you and many others says about body language does not always apply to persons who have adhd or are autistic. I get annoyed that people think every person react or act the same or have the same body language. Stimming for example is common among persons who have adhd or are autistic and eye contact can be hard for both of them. That does absolutely not mean that they are lying.

Context is key... establish a baseline on what their normal body language is over a prolonged period of time then identify what stressor triggers them and what they do in reaction to said stressor(s).. I'm not an expert but that's what I've learned from YT

Like he said in the video, be nice and normal with them to see what they're like usually then when you bring out the heavy questions/scenarios you can see how effects them

@@skitz-oh exactly its just that so many women wont ask any heavy questions or give their opinions so they never get to see reactions. I get to see them straightaway because I just give my opinions on things and you can see their reactions . Discomfort on their face and they won't engage. They can pretend but the discomfort never lies.
