What did the real estate companies and previous sellers know??? That should have been disclosed prior to the sale of this property.

The reality company had to know, they did not give you full disclosure which I think is illegal. If you had to get permits from city to do renovations, the planning office knew of road and should have warned you. If the previous owner knew of the road going thru the home and did not disclose to the realtor, that was fraud.

Wonder if it’s a Whaley or an Ogle that wants it. Town takes it, levels the house and sells it for 3-4 times the value marketed as “commercial”. 😉

Wow. I'm so sorry you are going through this. We were thinking of moving to that area when my husband retires. Sounds like that area is run by a bunch of greedy crooks. Kudos to you for being the squeaky wheel. Prayers for your family to receive justice. Thank you for exposing this.🙏

Who owns the campground?? Could you do a video on the timeline of events? When was the campground planning started? By who? When was the road moved to take out your property? Some people preferred one and other people preferred the other so they came up with a third hybrid route that worked the best for the people at this meeting who live and have businesses along the route. The businesses discussed was the future campground, a church and a nursing home/rehabilitation center. This route chosen was voted on in Nov 2021. The Race family bought their property in August 2022. Some members of the mayor’s family owns the campground so he abstained from voting for the route that would be chosen.

You need to take this to the highest court!

You can rent it as long as you disclose to the renter that they may have to leave. Or Airbnb it by the day.

This is why we moved out of that area all these people are corrupt and the boards are comprised of rich prices and only pad there own pockets. The whole are is just growing to fast and it is out of control. DOLLY NEEDS TO GET CONTROL OF THIS MESS.

This is another LAND GRAB!!!!! Like Lahaina, paradise CA, Palestine OH, and many other places across USA

Em domain is one if the evilest laws ever, while nowhere else the same we had about 30ft if our property stolen for sidewalks and roadside. Was screwed up, took our 4 car parking spot down to 1

I was thinking of purchasing an investment property kind of far from where I live and I’m realizing now nope I will never purchase a property not in the community that I live in because I need to know what’s going on. This was done behind the scene! Tennessee does that! Not realtor fault. Politicians in Tennessee only for big business. People need to change they way they vote

Is that not a federal road? The shortest dostance between two points is a straight line. Not only would the "S" curves vost more money, but actually traffic problems. Even if it is a state road, it would make more sense to be straight. But, besides the mayor, there are other heavy hitters with friends in low places involved.

This is far beyond eminent domain. It is corruption. Listen to all the facts. 1. The corridor was originally proposed over empty undeveloped land. 2. A government official or his Relative wants to build a campground there so now the proposed road moves to go over their house. 3. Mayor watched them make improvements for 7 months but didn’t warn them because he had no “moral” duty to do so. 4. If they were told, they wouldn’t have bought it and spent all that money.
