I had some comments from viewers in a recent live stream pointing out how impressed they were with my AC paint schemes, so I felt motivated to make a guide about how I go about doing it. If you were struggling to think how you were going to fill those 40 slots on a part before, you're going to wish you had way more than 40 once you start dipping your toes in this territory. My dad was so upset when I was Kittanning as a kid, in the early 90s before I knew the name. But when he saw the end product, he showed everyone my custom cars. My big issue with decals in ac6was the hiding of the part detail, this video made me both feel dumb for not thinking of it, and excited to go detail out my mechs. I've spent about 200+ hours on this game and only 70 in gameplay. It brings me back to my custom forza car days and it's way better, because, mechs. I do struggle with the way the decals fight the shape of my pieces, I want to figure out a good fix, I made a 3d carbon mesh for my lightweight ac's but it takes hours to line them up so in close inspection they look cohesive and correct, but also distort them to flow on the curvature of the part. I'm going to see what other videos you have, I appreciate this content.
