Amazing stuff! It's 🤯 that so much good quality footage of the "Big 4" survives from the 1930s, and even more so that someone bothered to record so much in so much detail!

Whom perished breaking the locomotive before rear ending a disabled train on a curve -???. I'm certain British R.R. systems had a few of those horrible accidents. 😲. I had the good fortune to travel on 2 different steam locomotives 🚂scenic train rides. Smoky Mountains national park North Carolina. Durango & Silverton Colorado scenic train rides. Very relaxing viewing the wonderfully scenic country sides -!!!😉.

A lot of this is 1950s or even 60s - not thirties. Good stuff all the same.
