Some things to love about this van, like that extra bed and the garage and the huge fresh water tank and the styling. Perfect for me and an occasional one other or occasional grandkid, my dog, and my ebike, although I didn't see any tiedowns for bike. Would also like to see deeper sink and bigger fridge. Don't know why other vans with boondocking brags have teeny freshwater tanks. Personally, I'd like to see some innovations with the toilets. I'd like to have that German toilet that separates #1 and #2 where you can wrap the number two in the bag that catches it and put it in the trash. Eliminates the odor of mixing the waste, uses no water, lasts indefinitely because of no dumping, and It's inexpensive, too! Hope everyone imitates that garage. This one's a little too pricey for me, but it has good less expensive competition from the Solis, and the Travato G for my money. Thanks for the review. This is an exciting coach.

It's a great video introducing this RV. The jump seats converting to a bed is a great design.

I love these van set ups . But yeah super expensive. You can get a C with way more room and storage , if you like driving the bigger vehicles. Nice vid as usual .

Hello, thanks for sharing your viewpoint. Unfortunately B-vans are more expensive than a C-class and offer less storage. But they are more easy to maneuver around town and will fit better in a regular parking spot. They are also great for day trips to the beach or events. Thank you so much for watching! Here's something I need help understanding with the videos and demonstration you make; it's not a criticism but an observation. Why do you wear shoes you can't easily take off when lying in bed?

This is not Westfalia. It is Sprinter with Westfalia logo.

It's a Promaster chassis not Sprinter.

It's so ridiculous to put in sleeping for 6 rather than just having much more storage for 1 or 2 people. Who is the fool sleeping 6 people and a dog in a van? C'mon. STORAGE is far more important than entertaining 10 people. lol DO that outside. And where ya putting gear for the 6 people and the dog and all the food to feed them? Where ya hanging 6 coats or 6 pair of boots? I don't get it. Just once, I want to see one of these designed to live in for ONE person and room for 1 guest for dinner inside (swivel front seats and a Lagun table, that's it). Then make a huge closet, and no a huge closet is not 12" wide with 2 drawers that are 2" deep ea. lol It's at least the width of the van and any drawers are at least 6" deep. Twin bed. TWIN or at least the option for either a twin and more storage or a bigger bed with less storage, preferably coming down from the ceiling or murphy or posing as sofa, but one you don't have to unmake every day. Has to be a micro/convec so you have an oven. BIGGER fridge/freezer. You gotta store some food and you can't store a frozen pizza in a tiny box that doesn't really freeze anything. Proper RV size is needed. Times are changing. These aren't occasional weekender vans anymore. Make them make sense. There's a lot of good here, but also a lot of wasted guest space that isn't really needed. Let's start making them for the people who are actually using them these days. lol

Being a single person, that would live full-time in a smaller R.V. , I don't need the front seat bed setup. I want a refrigerator freeze 3 times that size. No pop top. A smaller bed just for me, one I don't have to make up every day. A single Murphy bed would be fine. Bathroom is great. Maybe a little bigger kitchen sink. Storage area in back would be fine like it is. A smaller electric bike would be great there, for security and protection from rain. I wish these manufacturers would make a single person optional Floorplan. 13:50

I agree these Westphalias are expensive, but $157K isn't bad relatively-speaking in the rarefied atmosphere of the Class B world. I mean pretty much ALL Class B RVs are expensive -- they always have been, way more than Class Cs (also as always) -- so the question is just how much MORE expensive a certain Class B brand/model is compared to another Class B brand/model. Regardless, be sure to bring Big Money for both! BTW, I'm talking about the major Class B RV makers here, not the smaller Class B custom-builders. For example, the "off-road-focused" Class Bs (like the Winnebago Revel & probably the first of its kind) andJayco Terrain (now even Entegra has one: Their 2024 "Launch") are mostly on the more expensive Mercedes Sprinter (diesel) chassis. Others are on the RAM ProMaster (like these Westphalias) and probably a minority of them on a Ford Transit chassis (RWD or AWD -- no 4x4 offered). Of course, the Mercedes/Sprinter is probably the most expensive Class B platform and I'd guess THOSE off-road Sprinter Bs would be $200K, WAY more expensive than these Westphalias. But then, the Westphalia/Pro Master doesn't have AWD or 4x4 drive, so that makes it cheaper, too. I was looking at (and still am) a possible option for the future: The Pleasure-Way "Tofino" (~$80K, also a pop-up and also on a Ram ProMaster chassis) which is NOT a "full-amenity" (meaning it has no bathroom) Class B like the Westphalias are, but more akin to the older (1970s) Westphalias (or older 1960s VW "bus" was) -- a true "campervan." The Tofino is HALF the price of these Westphalias. So for 2X more $$ that a Tofino, you get a FULL-amenity Class B like the Westphalia (or others). Is it worth the extra $80K for that (bathroom)? There's also a similar pop-up to the Tofino -- Winnebago's "Solis Pocket" (~$140K+) -- but it's got a bathroom so it would be directly-competing with these Westphalias, not the Tofino. Still, for most of us I'd say even $140K is pretty pricey, but if you have the money then how much something costs is a non-issue (must be nice). Naturally, you could always look for something used, no more than 2 years old at most (which means it SHOULD be in like-new condition AND may still have some factory warranty left!) and get a way better deal price-wise....which is probably what most people do to reduce Sticker Shock. ;-) And there are a number of smaller 'aftermarket' companies that build these off-road type Class Bs -- you choose the chassis platform or BYOV (BringYourOwnVan) -- and some of those CAN be a tad less pricey (just a long wait-time for one to be built I guess) -- but other build-outs are pretty much very high-priced as well, also around the $200K mark. For now, however, "I'm just looking" -- while having my French Press morning coffee (until I get my Italian espresso machine back up running) while watching Ruby doing all the work covering the Class B scene! ;-) -- BR

@@Ravenzoom Apparently Pleasure-Way (PW) did discontinue it as I could find nothing on 2024 model Tofinos. But PW sure did it quietly and w/o any notice because I didn't see any news about it being discontinued at all -- just saw it "MIA" when I went to their site and looked for current model Tofinos. It disappeared. Well, now the Tofino is off my list! One reason I liked it was because it suited my needs better, as I didn't want a "full-amenity" (and more expensive!) Class B...wanted something more like a "minimalist" (less expensive!) campervan. Will have to do some new researching now... -- BR
