The reason is that the players offer no visual "affect". Their playing is technically superb, but it is dry of emotion. Their faces show nothing. Humans listen with their EYES more than their ears. Science proves this. .

@@non_being Well said. Besides, at various points in the performance, you could tell just by their faces how much they were enjoying playing.
I love the Chinese violin player ger facial expressions are well u usual for the Asian culture

Strange how we have this concept of order out of chaos, only the Greek metaphysical beliefs had perfect forms constructed in geometry in its forms, same with mathematical constructs in physics. Music has both chaos then order
