they are playful cheeky and mischevious but always funny and loving
I have had 7 dachshunds throughout my 60+ years. None of them had back problems. My last Doxie had a little neck pain that didn't start until he was 14 years old. But it didn't last long and it was easily managed. My sweet boy passed away just a few months ago and I am now getting my 8th dachshund puppy in a few weeks. They are sweet, intelligent and charming dogs.

Thanks for the info. Came the right time ! Thinking of getting one ,in a couple of months.
My sister used to dress ours and put it in a cot to sleep. It would grab the end of her clothes whether she wanted to go that way or not. She was 3 at the time. They do bark even if a leaf blows though.😂
