    I love to listen to you talk about stem cells and your work. Very articulate. I had an excellent experience with you, Dr. Kong. You have such great integrity and I will stand by your work and will come back as soon as possible. Stay strong and don't let those who have turned the stem cell therapy field into a competition interrupt your work. All the best to you!

    Thank you!!! I truly appreciate your kind comment and it means a great deal to me, especially in a field that faces fierce opposition from the powers-to-be, and from petty competitors… But to bring about healing is so powerful and exciting, that these shortsighted and selfish forces cannot stand the tide…:)

    Thank you Dr for teaching the lay population about UC-MSC’s ! The myths always have an agenda. Unfortunately, always bad actors bc of their own agendas. The last word imo is that the practice of medicine needs stem cell therapies as first line defense for HEALTH care in many specific areas. Bc science needs time in the medical community along with Drs knowledge & applied practice, equipment, ect , not to mention less of a need for big pharma meds. The old adage “if all you’ve got is a hammer everything looks like a nail” is a good way to understand why stem cell therapy hasn’t gotten the huge boost it should have for quite awhile already ! I thank you & Drs like you who pioneer a new way for a new day ! Pain and suffering for so many is needless and the private sector has launched this extraordinary healthcare ! My hope is that the medical community at large catches up and the monied interests do not keep the change from happening ! It’s a shame insurance and big pharma have a lot to do with why in this country stem cell therapy isn’t available for the masses !

    Wow so well said! One day stem cell therapy will be no big deal at all, like you said, first line of defense in any situation, be it injury, or infection, or just preventing aging decline… one days we will look back and wonder “what was all that fuss about?” Lol. It’s really just the natural order of things, utilizing the intelligence endowed in our body to help our body heal and thrive! I am so grateful for the support of good people and enlightened minds like yourself… THANK YOU!❤️

    Thanks for the informative podcast. Are the studies you reference with respect to embryonic stem cells vs the bone marrow/fat derived in the podcast listed in your e-book link above? If not, please post the links to them. Thanks.

    First of all, just to clarify, I do not use (nor do I know anyone in the US that uses) embryonic stem cells. What I think are one of the best sources of stem cells, are umbilical cord stem cells. I teach a course called Fundamentals of Stem Cell Practice via American Academy of Integrative Cell Therapy (www.aaict.org), and the course offers many studies comparing the differences. Please watch this video where I presented many of such studies, and all the references are included there. Thank you Dr. Kong for your videos. I have knee pain due to torn meniscus and my Chiropractor has suggested STEM cell therapy(Umblical Stem cells). How do I know that the stem cell he is going to be using are of Native form or altered. Is there a list of labs in the US that we know source native STEM cells? Also. do you have a suggestion of a practitioner in Texas area?

    Thank you for your comment. I can definitely recommend a practitioner to you. I founded Chara Biologics to provide native and minimally manipulated stem cell products to doctors… CharaCore contains the most comprehensive combination of stem cells with a very high percentage of MSCs… you can either come my clinic in Los Angeles for treatment, or I can recommend someone in your area. 9:41 min mark: fat-derived stem cells from your own body are less safe than stem cells from a donor umbilical cord. Why? Fat-derived stems cells could promote an underlying cancer condition to grow more aggressively.

    I have scar tissue in the joints of my hand and fingers that impedes mobility as a result of a severe injury several years ago. When they did surgery to remove scar tissue it came back as a result of the surgery. My question is could stem cell therapy help remove scar tissue in my hand or any other undesirable place within the body for that matter.

  • @JoyKongMD

    @JoyKongMD

    Жыл бұрын

    Yes Ayman, one of the amazing properties of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) is their anti fibrotic properties - breaking down scar tissue. I have seen it work well clinically as well. Unfortunately, surgical treatment for scars can be quite dicey and can become an endless loop of more scars and more surgeries. I think MSCs can offer some of the best hopes out there.

    I’m a healthy 5’10” 170lbs 56 year old male. I have had lower back pain (not consistent) for almost 20 years. In 2019 had an mri and in 2020 had 2 steroid shots by a back surgeon. Helped for a few months. Was told I just had disc degeneration, and was nothing could be done. Could stem cells offer me relief?

  • @JoyKongMD

    There has been clinical studies showing that stem cell therapy can help with disc regeneration… The spine is a complex structure. I think a comprehensive approach of proper alignment and decompression along with stem cell therapy will offer the best results. Proper nutrition will be very important as well to give the body proper ingredient to build new tissue

    Dr. Kong did you say you do stem cells treatment together with ozone and peptides therapy as one treatment? How much will it cost for combining all the three?

  • @JoyKongMD

    Yes. Each person will require different doses based on their body weight, age and health condition… the treatment is individualized, and a consultation is needed to determine cost. The range is $8500 to $18,000.

  • @JoyKongMD

    I have not. Also, just to clarify, I never “treat” any conditions with stem cells since stem cell therapy has only had approval for treating blood disorders and for Hemoreconstitution from the FDA. Everything else is considered experimental. By claiming that I “treat” a condition, it would be equivalent to making a claim in the FDA’s eyes. These are the parameters we doctors have to work under.
