Thank you for the tribute to the film, Tea and Sympathy. I rank it as my favorite Deborah Kerr movie with From Here to Eternity and An Affair to Remember second and third, respectively. I found her headmaster's wife character understanding and romantic, her officer's wife alluring and aloof (FHTE), and her shipmate-turned-tragic lover emotionally attached (AATR). One of Hollywood's most lovely natural redheads. May she R.I.P.

Greatest actress. Always my favorite. One of my most prized possessions is a letter I received from John Kerr three years before he passed away. He told me he was in love with her when they were making "Tea and Sympathy" together.. As wonderful a person as she was an actress.

I would have fallen in love with Her also. Just saw T&S for the 1st time. An Affair to Remember and the Chalk Garden are two of my favorites.

I'm so happy I can watch your new editorial version of "Tea and Sympathy".It's one of my favourite films of Deborah Kerr. Yes, She really is Laura Reynolds!And it's her birthday today 30/Sept. I sent some flowers to St.Nicholas Church,Alfold according to your advice,thank you Irene.

Thank you Masahiro. It's one of my favourites too. I congratulate you for sending the flowers. Someone who was recently there in Alfold wrote to me and unfortunately there weren't any flowers when he went. So I'm happy there will be some new flowers there now.

Yes, those are the flowers he took a couple of months ago, when there weren't any flowers there. It's a simple grave, unpretentious like the lady herself, with only a personal touch like the owl on the back. Now at least your flowers are decorating the place.
