Best part of this is at 16:08. Great hearing about the old days and the book is nice, but that is so cool to hear Debbie having no plans to retire and wanting to record even more tracks for the new album like they have done since they started. They have not lost that and it's a treat to still continue to hear new tunes from them Great interview. We learned this could be Spring 2025 new album.
Happy birthday Debbie you are one of best bands ever put together, Mary😂,
Looking forward to getting a copy of Chris' new book and reading it. As a long-time Blondie fan, I continue to be impressed at how Chris and Debbie built their music enterprise and are still moving forward. Would that I could see Blondie in person.

I was never a huge Blondie fan; I was more into Jazz, Fusion and Progressive Rock; however as far as Pop music goes I always admired Blondie. I am wondering why when I see current videos of their more recent concerts Chris is not playing. Do you know why?

@@thinman8621right. First Chris had to stop due to a heart arrhythmia, and a couple years later was diagnosed with prostate cancer. A couple months after that his eldest daughter was lost to a fentanyl overdose. Andee Blacksugar replaced Chris on tour, and Glen Matlock replaced Leigh Foxx on tour after his back issues pained him too much to play live. Tommy Kessler had replaced Paul Carbonara, and Matt Katz-Bohen replaced Kevin Patrick, who had briefly replaced Jimmy Destri on keyboards.

@@liamhanrahan2271 Thank you for the update.
I just love their work with Blondie and in Debbie Harry solos albums. The 5 CDs of Deborah Harry worth to be rediscovered, Def Dumb as & Blonde is the missing link between the first band phase and the second ( Mike Chapman is the producer ) and" Debravation "is really a great album. Just like "No Exit" six years later.
