The only thing I'd add to this is a special title per faction for mvp. Ex for orks it would be Da Best Krumpa.

The commandos in barrels are awesome, bonus points for matching fingernail polish!

The ork paintjob is so beautiful. From the detailing of the green skin to the barrel boyz with little eye holes is fantastic!

Some people are not good losers. far too many people i have found have lost track of that the point win/lose is to have a good time as for painting knights.......i will likely never play them but that Xmas bundle is looking mighty tasty with all those lovely armor panels

The music is superbly edited in this episode in particular - seriously, your guys' sound design is killing it!

I absolutely love Steve's character arc. In my opinion I love seeing his love for the game now. in the first few episodes, you could tell he was very confident but it didn't translate to the tabletop. Maybe it's age, maybe it's wisdom, maybe it is experience - maybe it is a health combo of all three - whatever it is, you have my heart and my best/well wishes, Space Marine Steve. Keep fighting the good fight, and please, keep knowing no fear.

"Oh no! He advanced those Eradicators, now they can't shoot!" "So for the start of my shooting phase I'm gonna shoot my Eradicators...." 😄

they have assault weapons, they can still shoot - its just that since they advanced they can't shoot *twice*, a special ability on the eradicators datasheet

Honestly, any time I see dreadnaughts, it always shocks me how much they get. Core, easy to make one hit on two’s, reroll 1’s, -1 damage, good in shooting and in melee. Tough and lots of wounds. So crazy

They're 185+ pts though. Redemptors are the biggest Space Marine vehicle after Land Raiders and Repulsors, not counting Forgeworld stuff. A model of such size and cost should be able to bring a lot to the table. It's more that other SM vehicles are underpowered for the cost.

It's not that Dreadnoughts get too much - NOT-dreadnought vehicles just get NOTHING. Space Marine tanks are probably the worst units in the game.

That Ork paint scheme is *crisp*. Love the squigosaur model too.

I absolutely love that The Warmistress has immaculate nails that matches the paint of the orks.

You can just hear it in their voices towards the back end of the video like "yea this is about to be a blowout, sorry orks."

Really enjoyed this one. Nice to see Steve isn’t dropping the bit about the Wauwg from the game where the only way to get CP was by making the opponent laugh.

These really scratch the itch to buy a bunch of models (I’ve never really enjoyed playing but still get the urge from time to time). You guys do important work, ha ha

This felt like a rock scissors match up. Of all the Marine Chapters to field against Orks, Deathwatch is the best with their anti-Xenos shenanigans.

It's actually the Vigil Spear from the Watchmaster's kit, except there's Necron blades on the front and back.

Rough go for the waaghmistress there…But it sure looked like a lot of fun! Love the barrel boyz you should get a tiny one for distraction grot!

Cool game! Love seeing Astartes and Orks fight it out. But man, the Orks need some help in the Morale phase because I feel like they're one of the only armies that has to actually worry about it.

"Steve is.... a wonderful human being" Tell you what Steve is, a guy who rolls worse than a container on a flat stretch of land with no one pushing it. Someone who holds his temper in check fairly well considering the inopportune situations he's often faced with. Someone who seems gentle, kind and fun to have a beer with.

Steve's Dreadnought isn't a Space Wolf, it's a Carcharodon.. Not sure if he didn't notice it and I'm not sure how Deathwatch plays but its just something I noticed.

Wow, a community list for Primaris marines I don't hate. I loved seeing the Deathwatch army and I LOVED the Ork Kommandos.

Tanya's Kommando's will never not be my favorite unit.

Tanya's nails are on point for this match. Love to see it. Also, the chemistry between Tanya and Steve is real here. They should do a series of narrative games or something.

Tanya, your ork paint scheme was the inspiration for my own ork army. Absolutely in love with it. Can I ask what blue paints you used and how you got it to 'pop' so much!

This was a great match but its another example of why I REALLY don't like random Secondary objectives. Feels like the players are at the mercy of what they draw and their own strategy doesn't matter as much. It's like they're trying to check boxes of whatever objectives they get rather than trying to react to and fight their opponent.

It was really cool seeing Tanya playing! Awesome battle 😁

Waaagh states "add 1 to the strength and attacks characteristics of the model". Shouldn't it be 12 then as the killsaws X2 the models strength?

@@MyTayte it's Templated very weird. In the core Rules under modifiying characteristics it says to first multiply then add. The writing of the Goffs +1S is much better, because it's obvious there.

Steve: "I really like this model, it has a Necron spear" *Looks up while I'm assembling custodes and sees the model holding a Guardian Spear* Yes....Necron Spear....

Perhaps just in general, I had the exact same match up quite literally the night before and I was running horde goffs. I don't get why literally 100s of attacks over 2 rounds wouldn't kill a spacemarine haha

Congrats Steve for finally doing this army justice unlike that match against Tyco's nids (which was painful to watch)

I prefer two Deff Dreads over the Mega Dredd, usually with 3 arms and a skorcha, maybe one with a stompomatic piston and the ramming speed strat to cover a lot of ground. They can do so much work and seem far more efficient for the price. I usually play Blood Axes which work well with Kommandos, but you would lose objective secured, even if you get a better initial deployment. A unit of squighog boyz with a bombsquig would be a good replacement for one of the stormboyz I think

I like dreads (in this case both for their 'mob' rule and all the stuff you can do with the models), and hog boyz too. Although if I had a Mega Dread (especially that one by Gear Guts) I'd play that one on camera. Who doesn't like a huge stompy robot? I don't begrudge the Warmistress her Stormboyz. They do have their uses especially in a mobile list like this one that looks to win on points rather than direct damage. I lean Blood Axe myself, but play any klan, and think that this list could go either Axes or Skulls but with all the large-ish infantry units she's fielding Death Skulls are probably the way to go.

PROOF once again that the orks pose zero threat to any army; they serve only as a comedic relief.

Might have already been said but the boss cant pile in around the dread while already in base contact, GWS confirmed it in one of the question / answer FAQ's, you can only pile in move when not in base contact which it would be in when the dread charged (doesn't look like he left any gap between the bases.)

That Ork Truk surviving with 1 wound in round 1 was because the Deathwatch shot up the engine block not knocking the Cunningly Brutal Ork Meks put the engine in the rear of the Truk.

you are doing the strength calculation wrong. Its S5 x2 = 10 then +1 strength so 11

Not in this case. While you do multiplication then addition, when calculating strength you do the models strength bonuses first and then weapon bonuses. So +1 from wagggh affects the model’s strength, then x2 from the weapons. It’s explained in this FAQ www.warhammer-community.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Warhammer_40000_Designers_Commentary.pdf
