Fingers crossed they do the Deathbox reissues. I had the Deathbox hydrant board I think it was 1990 or 91. The concave was so extreme it used to make my foot ache, and I could Ollie that board higher than any board before or since. Best deck ever.

I grew up on Deathbox decks when i was a kid. The Deathbox unit was in Wellingborough and Jeremy used to sell us decks straight out the side door thst were not scree printed properly

2:05 Nick Philip was behind Anarchic. This podcast has connected so many missing holes in my Skate knowledge, Wurzel was the first person I saw in print skating street in the UK and in a Library Book. Also great to hear about Gary Lee & the Abrook brothers, not often you hear about Hampshire skate history.

Worcester around 1990-92 was full of deathbox boards too . Most of my boards in the early 90s were deathbox and I wish I had kept some

Used to watch Wurzel rip Meanwhile up back in the day. Had no idea how he ground that lip that was rough as you know what. Great skater.

That Rodney Mullen bit on the 8.15 from Manchester blew my mind, I'd only ever seen people skating in the flesh before that round ours. Rude Dog and the Dweebs was on right after him 😂

Thank you Sir... for the style, inspiration and love that you've brought to skateboarding and me in the early 90s @ Mannheim Schrottplatz - you're king! Much love from Berlin and I wish you a lot of fun on your SUP trips Duncan! We all missed you the last year at the Tropica revival session.... cheers "Schneider"

Great Episode! One of my favourite skate photos is of Wurzel skating at Bloblands in South London for a Death Box ad. I live nearby and it still blows my mind that anyone can do anything on that concrete nipple thing.

Don’t think Groholski ever skated for Schmitt Stix. I know Schmitt made the decks for Vision but never knew Tom skated for Schmitt Stix.
