There is no competition my friend, it's just all about building and sharing!!!
I’ve seen this room my favorite part is the sliding door!
That is past awesome into some other category. The fact he mostly used ordinary tools adds to the awesome factor. Years ago, the college I worked for had a " Junkyard Jedi" cookout/party...the conditions were that you couldn't have any commercially made costumes or props...it's amazing to see what people do with ordinary materials or junk..
yayyy!!! been waiting!

The Smugglers Room thx😊 its actually you guys that got me to the point of LETS DO IT when I saw you’re plans and started to follow you’re builds😍 I was in a state of to meny ideas in my head that I never came to the point of even started😩🤷♂️ I’m picky on details and thats my biggest weak point cause I’m often over plan it in my head 😂 Will send pictures soon, not ready yet🤪
What Code Color is that Dark Grey? Would you share that? Your Room is a DREAM! I want to do the same thing but with a Garage Bar. SO AWESOME!!!
HEH he bought a CNC machine. :) He did this himself. Or that's what it looked like on his videos Terrific work duplicating the Death Star wall panels. Very creative. But, what I would have done differently was cover the MDF and all hard surfaces.with some kind of fabric. I'm not sure why Ron chose not to. I don't think there is any "acoustic treatment" on the walls/ceiling. Also, he never mentioned if he did any sound proofing work first. Or how solid that sliding door is. WOuld you hear it vibrate? But visually it's impressive. When I first saw one of his videos I assumed he just made a "Star Wars-like" room before finding out he tried duplicating walls in the DS. :) Very inspirational build.
I know that theater!

I bet it's an amazing place to watch a movie!
Imperial March should play when he walks in
I would turn that projector into a torture droid.
Bin is the best for mdf. Please cover all mdf as it will get moisture without

great suggestion
Run you the man I want to point out that you said you wanted to take the panels off how about just using Velcro that works very good and if you needed to take them off for whatever reason that would be a good fit and you got it done in 2 months once again run you are the man but also Brian you not the man you're the geek but you are the man and thank you for pointing out what I need to do on my videos I appreciate it very much you guys are the best rock on

silly feedback: why do you look at the ceiling when taking instead of looking at the camera. Either tilt your head down or raise the camera.
@TheSmugglersRoom
4 жыл бұрын
We appreciate the feedback, but I’m very confused. Just rewatched twice, and I am looking straight at the camera lens throughout. Actually, our set up is such that my eye line is right at the lens level. Is there a specific part you are seeing me look at the ceiling? Would love to address this if there is an issue. Thanks!

The Smugglers Room - sorry to waste your time with such a trivial comment. You _do_ look at the camera, but it’s just that you seem to have your head tilted back, chin up high, looking down your nose at the camera. Imo, a more natural position would be to tilt your chin down a bit so you’re not looking down your nose at the camera. The same would be achieved by having the camera higher up. This is just my 2 cents and I’m not trying to criticize. :)
@TheSmugglersRoom
4 жыл бұрын
Now I totally see what you are saying. Not trivial at all, we are always looking for ways to improve. I know what’s happening, I think I’m constantly trying to point my mouth at the mic just above my head, and that’s causing me to look . . . Weird! (Weirder than normal anyway) Seriously, appreciate your response and clarity, it really helps and we’ll be able to fix it. Have a great day!
I LOVE the design. But I know for a fact the sound reflection is a problem ☹️

It could be, but it’s so awesome I might be able to look past that 🤔
He should re-dress the projector to make it look like an interrogation droid.

Holy. Only thing I have that's somewhat worth it is my Binoculars, armor pieces, or 6th scale figure display. They arent worthy enough COMBINED for this
