I had a great big crush on David Soul when l was growing up, loved him and his music. Loved watching him, had a 8 track tape of Playing To An Audience Of One and the 45 record of Don't Give Up On Us/Black Bean Soup.May he Rest In Peace 😢❤

I will never forget David Soul/Hutch, I watch Starsky & Hutch all the time & also enjoy my DVDs of SurCon 2013 & 2014 of the tribute to both of them when they were in thier 70's. You can still see & feel the love, friendship, caring, and chemistry between these two awesome men!!! So David will always live & remain in our heats just like Elvis. I also had the pleasure & to have been able to meet Paul in October 2023 & have my picture taken with Paul. A memory I will cherish always. RIP! DAVID. We now have God & David watching our backs!♥️♥️

They were indeed a great duo who had a lot of chemistry and charisma on screen. @@theglobalbuzzerYou are welcome. I watch them all the time the original series on DVD & KZread. The SurCon DVDs I bought off of David Soul's website last year. Well worth buying. Especially 2014 where it shows them watching part of the episodes & even Antonio Fargas/Huggy Bear appears as a surprised guest. I cherish the memory of meeting Paul! He is a very sweet and wonderful man!!! I have his book & one of his art pieces. I have pictures of meeting him also.

Wow, you are so lucky to have met Paul Michael Glaser! He is such a talented actor and director. I’m glad you enjoyed the SurCon DVDs, they sound like a great way to relive the magic of Starsky & Hutch. I’m also a big fan of the show and the original cast. David Soul was amazing as Hutch, and I was very sad to hear about his passing earlier this month. He left behind a legacy of music and activism that will not be forgotten. Antonio Fargas was hilarious as Huggy Bear, and I love his cameo in the 2014 SurCon. Thank you for sharing your experience and your passion for the show. It’s always nice to meet a fellow fan. 😊

This is very sad to hear David souls passing Paul Michael Glaser and David soul were very close with each other on screen and off screen

Every time I see David I cry. I guess I loved him as Hutch and as himself.

Thank you Paul Michael Glaser for your amazing tribute to David Soul. He will be remembered always!. I watch my DVDs all the time and the SurCon 2013 & 2014 when you were in your 70's. I know what you are feeling as I just lost a very dear friend whom I worked with for many years & stayed in contact after the company went out of business. Prayers are with you always.

A wonderful tribute to David Soul. A legendary/superb/ accomplished/extraordinary singer/writer, actor/director, activist/humanitarian. A multi-talented human being who left us with a Beautiful Legacy. This SOUL was Blessed by God with many gifts/talents. We were Blessed to have these gifts/talents to appreciate/cherish. He now sings with the Angels. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Somehow, someway when we see the reruns of this great and exciting TV show, we seem to think of the actors today as they were back then. In reality they have all aged and batteling ole' Father Time like the rest of us. Thank you Mr. Soul for all the great entertainment you provided us all with in your youthful years. May he always rest in Heavenly Peace!!!

Your right. starsky and hutch was the best cop show ever I watched it every Saturday evening back in the day so sad to hear of David souls passing David soul and Paul Michael Glaser were so close to each other on screen and off screen Paul Michael Glaser must be so devastated to lose his close friend I prefer the old cop shows than the modern cop shows for eg starsky and hutch kojak Sweeney the professionals the Rockford files Miami vice columbo forme these cop shows are better than the modern cop shows

@regd 2263 Paul's beautiful tribute to David was published by UK newspaper 'The Daily Mail' three weeks ago and subsequently picked up by other publications. None of it came out in this video. Paul and David were not actual brothers but had a very close, deep friendship, in their words 'closer than brothers.'

I had a huge crush on David Soul. So glad I was a teenager in the 70’s. I haven’t been able to watch any starsky and hutch yet. Soon I hope.

yes the story was in all the major magazines of that time, Soul's wife was in terror of him, she tried to reach out to the police but they were no help, the night he nearly killed her and the unborn child she called a local private security company for help, the two private security officers kept guns on Soul while they talked to him, he promised them he was no danger to his wife, and then went in the house and nearly killed her and the unborn child, Soul then was taken to jail, the story was covered on tv and the major magazines, look it up on the net-google it David Soul wife beater, you will find the truth, Soul then continued to have violent relation ships with women , and then left America for Thailand saying he would live his live as he pleased.@@theglobalbuzzer

You obviously read the trash mags. Patty was not pregnant when he slapped her. I read the police report and court documents. Her only injury was a bloody lip from an open hand slap. He immediately sought help and talked to other men about domestic violence. Please dont perpetuate those lies of trying to kill an unborn baby. That never happened.
