Dear APex! Thanks for your post. My bride of 46 years loved your comments! Many of her gal-pals commented that they could not believe I would 'shuse' her. But, as in life there is always more to the story. My bride is a Air Force experienced gal--she understands the word Standby. She is also well know as "The mouth of the South". I was attempting to keep my camera stable on the rail of our Cruise Ship, The Azamara Quest, while totally blown away with what I had just witnessed with the Iceberg. The bottom line is: You would have had to be there to understand. Bad husband maybe, but my bride is still hanging. lol

Keith Hawkins Mr. Hawkins, You are very right and you deserve an apology from me: I'm sorry. I spoke out of line with the word Bad. 46 years is an incredibly long time. Therefore, you cannot be a bad husband, I agree. I had 22 years with my wife before she passed away, and I considered that a long time, but 46? Whew! Congrats to you both. Sincerely. I shouldn't have used that word, for you are right; I do not know and I was not there, Thanks for your reply

I think he would have much more enjoyed the cruise without her. I'm so glad I'm career Big D'd, going on 21+ years. Marriage = a job without a paycheck = nothing more than full time adult baby sitting. I see so many senior couples who don't want to admit they hate their marriages, But they default to. "I CAN'T AFFORD TO GET DIVORCED".... Me, at 70+, I'm soooo loving my life without a high maintenance yappie female. HASTA LA VISTA, BABY!
