I like ryuk also because he was the reason why the show dragged on to 37 episodes otherwise he could have told light, L's real name the first time he saw L in like 10 to 15 episodes, I liked that he was neutral and actually was the one to kill Light at the end

If u had observed the ending carefully u must have noticed that everything they showed at the end had its own purpose for example ryuk sitting at top of the tower showing that he is the only true God and on the other hand light dieng on the middle of the stairs showed that he died in the way of becoming a god and will end up in between the hell and the heaven.And aslo the focus on the moon at last was to show that yagami(moon) reached the top among the human

Nah it felt like they made him look intelligent but I never got the feeling that he outsmarted light, even N says that he is not smarter than L but with the help of Mellow he could do that . Considering Light outsmarting L it feels not possible that N outsmarting Light

@@priyanshumishra8336 lo agya light fangirl, bruh he used the shinigami which was not fair at all. apart from that, L cud have defeated him if he worked hard, but he didn't even try in the end cuz he said that he didn't have any friends and light was the first one. if he revealed the light is kira then he wud have lost his one and only friend. And we all know what's the value of a 'friend'. Near had no backing point like him so he won.
