My prediction is,,,,they bring her back late in season or next,,,her having changed her mind on DI Neville 🤔

I absolutely love this show it was my mom's favorite show.ive watched it from the start in 2011 .wish her all the best for her next career endeavors .I was crying when her and Neville said goodbye.hope she comes for any specials.

This is my favorite tv show. I’ve watched the series 3 times and will watch it again. I just hope Josephine comes back…she will be missed.

She is wonderful, feel luck to have a French actress on a UK TV series for so long, who is hugely popular in the United Kingdom. I hope she continues to make TV and films production in the UK

Ms. Jobert's character presentation for DS Florence Cassell will be deeply missed. She was a big part of what made the show so exceptional and enjoyable.

So sorry to see her go. What I like about the series is the real love the scriptwriters and actors have for the characters.

I love Josephine, such an artist and good natured person.

One of my favorite part of the show is the location 😍😍😍😍

Such a great show sadly florence will be missed there has been some great episodes over the years .the show is becoming more popular as time goes on .hopefully we will all see some of the original cast start to appear here and there during new episodes.

I am sad she is leaving the show I love watching her she would make me laugh with the other actors. She will be missed. It's one of my favorite shows and she is one of my favorite actors on the show.

Josephine said it took sometime to adjust as DIP was the first time she had to learn a script in English and was nervous. Her English has perfect delivery and construction so either she has worked hard or had an excellent command already. The show has lost its sparkle without her.

She knew when she'd gone as far as she could with character so called it a day instead of hanging on just to keep a regular pay cheque. She wanted new challenges. All credit to her. I wish a few others in series would be as honest, sensible and strong.

A character i would like to be introduced is someone who is cold very angry doesnt smile,and rubs everyone the wrong way, florence comes back for an episode and asks whats up and has an heart to heart with the new lead and find out that her husband was killed in action thats why she was bitter ,and they bond and her heart is melted

Honestly, it's just starting to feel like they don't want to cough up the money to keep the actors on the show and they dump them and hire someone new and cheaper, then a few seasons in, when they would need a raise, do the same thing. We enjoy the show but come on, people watch these types of shows for the characters, and their interactions, not for the mysteries which are middling at best(which is true for most weekly mystery shows). It feels like a year wasted bringing her back and then building up the Florence and Neville potential romance for it to wind up with her leaving again.

WONDERFUL FLORENCE!

Sad to see good and thanks anything did on show and all best in want you do next.

Why did she bother coming back to leave like that just a few series later…? The way she left in season 8 was a better way to close the chapter. Recently the cast turned over in such a sort period of time is annoying. As viewers we finally get use to the new character and dynamic between then then suddenly someone leaves.

She did come back and... WOW...what a come back it was .... AND YES I envy Neville, he got to go away with this beautiful lady. 😊 ( The lucky B....d)

I have to say it the one show that all the the people that replace someone have all fitted in just right. The one show where I can say I've liked all the actors , not many show's you can say that about

Florence is such a super character though. Smart, beautiful and funny. It's a real shame if Josephine is leaving. I feel that she has become synonymous with the show and had good chemistry with the new Inspector. Surely the show needs her to continue?!

​@@HELLOmagand pne year down the line o can say 'i don't'. Shantal Jackson's character has the charm of a dead fish, Marvin is trying to be funny too hard, Darlene Curtis adds nothing. I would have liked Chelsea Edge to have main role. Not specifically as Neville's gf, but as one of the team. Also Elizabeh Tan, who earlier plaid a baddie in the series, would have been a great addition

Death in Paradise keeps evolving. I have all 10 seasons on DVD. It is a great little quirky show. Florence replaced a poor casting choice in Madeline and Thank God they ditched Ruby. Personally, I am still hoping they think about Sara Martins coming back as the next DI or Inspector. Season 10 reminded us Camille was the best DS on the show. Season 11 doesn't come out on DVD in Australia until mid-March but looking forward to another great series.

No,she don’t leave.She has stayed Into the show.What happened between friendship(or relationship)of Florence and Neville?That’s how it ended?She has to get back to not only on the show,but also to Neville,so that together they can resume their beautiful relationship again.But he doesn’t have to leave either.

@@claudiabuccinna Poi sinceramente io questa serie tv l’ho scoperta grazie a mia madre che l’ha guardata dall’inizio sulla Rai.Ma solo mesi fa seppi di Delitti In Paradiso quando lei stava guardando addirittura le repliche 😆 Io mi ci sono “interessato” e volevo sapere sul web di cosa trattasse l’intera serie,e mi duole dirlo,ma credo che non è seguitissima come tutte le altre fiction gialle popolari.Io ho visto solo gli episodi con i personaggi di Neville e Florence,ma quando ho visto l’episodio(in lingua originale)mi sono domandato parecchie cose sul perché se ne fosse andata,e sincero,non ne trovo il senso e penso che gli sceneggiatori abbiano fatto una c****a grossa come una casa a farla ri-abbandonare il ruolo.

Not much point watching now, without a strong female lead. The new uniform sergeant doesn't have the screen presence Josephine or Sara have.

I agree to, think its losing it way now, don't get me wrong brilliant show, but there's only so many series you can write.

The undercover story was a bit tame. It could have been written better

Look. I only watched the show cos joe was in it, she was the most believable character, full of artistic integrity. That she just happened to be best looking, has nothing to do with it, for a man of my age, let me know what else she is going go be in so i can ogl... er i mean appreciate her artistic talent further

Maybe the actress wanted to take on other roles..kinda hoped she would leave due to a great job offer in London like Camille..or be reassigned to Paris like Ruby..

I really don’t like the show anymore. It’s just in / out with the actors. The best was with Poole and Goodman and then everything went down hill. I didn’t wacth season 11.

yeah, the he (whoever the lead detective is) falls for (insert name here) and she ups and leaves. they keep using the same story line! just stop the repeating! or give the guy a break, not a broken heart!

Got ridiculous now. We need another police officer, we'll get a care assistant from a private clinic she'll do 🤦 Insulting to the island community they're representing.

This NEW GUY IS FOR THE BIRDS 🐦 what was the director thinking?!

I presume she was called back coz the show was going down hill with Ruby and Aude. Those 2 characters were a total disaster. They are the only 2 characters who left without an exit story beforehand. In season 20 it was just "aude went back to paris and ruby went along" they got the boot. Tbh currently little chemistry between the characters. Shantal and Marvin have absolutely no chemistry and that new so called 'civilian liaison' adds nothing.

Why would she need to go with underground gone wrong? Why would the other officers not also be in danger. A really stupid childish story line that makes no sense at all. Love the show usually but some story lines are childish make no sense at all.

She was looking a little tired.

Let’s face it, without the sunshine and beaches, it’s a lame show.

I preferred when the show plot was over one episode, not over several episodes. Also, while I like Don Warrington the Commissioner is now in far too many episodes.

So glad she's gone. Back and forth back and forth. She doesn't want to be there and there's a lot better actresses who'd be grateful. Bye 👋🏼

Who on Earth is the snowflake type top right? All she can manage is 'Oh my god' and 'like' 3 times in every sentence! Did somebody employ her or did she just turn up? Either way she needs to look for other work ... appalling!

Season 11 is a disaster! As if the HR department had airbrushed the script and removed all the fun. Boring, “safe”, and devoid of humour. And the two new characters seem to have been cast from the general public, not professional actors. It’s over.

Its only a tv show with actors...lol
