Death In Africa - Now in High Quality Part! (Full Documentary)

Фильм және анимация

In Africa, natural death does not exist. Death does not arrive, it is sent by God or sorcerers. Disease is not a natural fact but a weapon in the hands of occult powers. On the other hand, it is not easy to die of old age in a continent where 15% of children do not reach their fifth birthday. Death is very present and around her the most curious rituals have been made.

I was just thinking about my second brother who is in a mortuary, (my neice said that they didn't embalm him right something like that). We lost him and the oldest brother withing 13 months. Our first experience with death in the family. I wish I could have been their with him. It would have been better to know that I was there when he went to his last resting place as I am the oldest sister and was in the Labor room when he was born 51 years ago.

Wtf am I watching???😳😳😳😳😳😳 I'm originally from Africa (Kenya 🇰🇪) but all this is fucking new to me!!! And naming this video 'DEATH IN AFRICA' is wrong!!!!!!!! AFRICA is a continent with a total number of 54 independent states and not all of them do this!!🙌🏽💯😭

MissManny killuminatti I'm not sure why you seem surprise being from Kenya. Customs between cultures are very different from region to region within the same African country let alone between two different African countries. Customs between let's say southern Ghana and an area in Kenya are light years apart from each other. Also nothing wrong with the title. As far as I can tell the Documentary illustrates deaths and burials within different African cultures. It would've been an issue if the title was death in Africa and focus only on the customs in one country. Look at this title for instance "Death in Bobodioulasso", I guarantee it probably has no meaning to you. You wouldn't have checked it. Bobodioulasso is a region in the current Burkina Fasso former Upper Volta. You can break down bobo dioulasso as "home" of the "Bobos" from the bambara or Dioula language.

They said in Africa but that’s not true if only a certain town or country does it . Africa will continue to be misrepresented. I am from Ethiopia but grew up in America. Every time someone knows my nationality they bring up how lucky I am to be in America. Little did they know the history and richness of the continent they speak of 🤦🏾‍♀️✊🏾.

So sad. I feel so sorry for suffering people and especially childrem....ill or otherwise. This lack should not exist in this wotld at this time. Even before the 70's and 80's many volunteers risked their comforts and some their lives to get resources and help tribes such as these with clean water, farming, education, etc. The Peace corps built entire infastructures and gave out birth control, food and taught people how to farm and access clean water. Medicine was brought in because they did not even have an aspirin nevermind a life daving antibiotic. Why are they dying? They are not saying...so sad. Bless them Father.

Only a fool would consider Africa a single cultural entity. Depending on whether one counts Western Sahara part of Morocco and South Sudan part of Sudan, Africa comprises either 52 or 54 independent, culturally diverse nations. Crossing Africa is the closest a man can come to traveling between worlds-some tiresomely familiar, some breathtakingly exotic.

Why are they generalizing Africa? That is the continent and there are many different cultures, tribes, and religious beliefs. I really hate when they generalize.

The UNO should arrange to distribute anti-retroviral drugs arranged from donations by major pharmaceutical companies of the world. After all there is a Corporate Social Responsibility with 100% rebate on Income Tax. Any way Africa is so diverse the Arab, the Nubian, the Berber, the African tribal culture, the South African Dutch white cultures are mind blowing.

educate yourself before talking about Africa. we shall recount our own stories without bias. Africa is a continent and not a country so please rephrase the title of this narrative.

First off, it's not a bias. Educate yourself about the definition of words before commenting. The video is obviously demonstrating one type of burial that takes place in an African country, mainly Ghana and the Ga tribe. You are a fucking idiot.

I speak Gã so I understand what that cute elderly woman was saying at 8:01, She was saying "when will I see you again, when will I see you again" If you understand the language you'd know that Gã people are a straight forward no bullshit people (I'm allowed to say that I'm Gã) so her saying something like that is very sad :(
