These videos are great... I met Sean while Death was promoting this album. During their “In Human” Tour they played here in Atlanta at the old Masquerade. After the gig, Chuck was busy but smiled and shook my hand in passing, however Sean stopped and spoke to me and my best friend at the time (MM). He was very polite, friendly and down to earth dude. It was a great show. Still got the shirt I bought that night. For the 15 year old version of myself, it was a very cool night in January of 1992. R.I.P. Sean Reinert

Oh boy, always with the people thinking that Death were the first death metal band to go "technical". I mean Atheist had put out two albums of the stuff by the time Human was out, Cynic were doing it, Nocturnus put out The Key, to give some perspective. Obviously Human was an influential album, but it's never nice to see someone getting credit for something they didn't actually innovate. Just sayin'. But Human helped popularize the phenomenon of writing more complex death metal, of course.

SH or Leprosy aren't that technical really, Atheist and Nocturnus for example were much more technical at the time. But lets not get into that argument. Death have to be given the credit of being the most influential in the whole technicality movement in death metal, BUT the popularity contest aside, my point was that I think people need to face the fact that they didn't innovate it. Besides, tech death was pretty much the result of taking example from the direction thrash bands took before them

@@metalfuk69 and they are working on a new album!!
Mike Browning was also in Nocturnus \m/
Haha chuck and that dude were talking about getting "buds"
@litlegirllil not yet but they were later on after chuck, paul and sean drove back to miami
0:03 Mike Browning from Nocturnus.

What audio mixing console was used?
That guy is Mike Browning form Morbid Angel's singer and drummer
Man, I was one when they were making this shit...holy fuck. I should have been born in the 80's.
Scott is so focused in this man if it wasn't for him
Yeah I'm w/ Common Foxtrot......ho disliked this, and why? What is not to like about this footage? That's disrespectful.
Just wanted to ask, obviously there were times in the video where you guys were just joking ("Dude...you're a penis! I don't like your attitude") but there were some points like the whole "I heard Bori's getting married", "just like you are to your fuckin boyfriend Paul...egotistical attitude" exchange. Now I'm not much of a social person but were you guys just joking around with that stuff too or was there a little tension? Thanks a lot for uploading! Much gratitude!

I mean I'm pretty sure Paul and Sean may have just recently come out to this small group of people at that point because I think I read from Paul somewhere that they came out to their friends and family in 90 or at least he did, so camera guy may have been just joking around about that considering. But who knows... if he (camera guy) sees this he could probably confirm or deny.
they dissed each other to no end, but we were still kids Paul n Sean were 18-19 at the time our age range was kinda 18-25 so yeah we got off taking a piss on each other once in while, but never tension
Isnt that the guy from Nocturnus?
Qblivion!!! from Quebec.
@PierreLampron that guy is was WITH Oblivion or still is I dont know
"Mike called earlier, I said "Sure man, there's an idiot down here, if you can tolerate him, sure, come on down."" "Don't be so harsh to Sean" "Pardon me?" "...it's ok, Scott will go away." Hahaha Also, someone tell me where to get me one of dem Obliveon t's please. ;_;

Who's the camera guy?
5:22 "What you talking 'bout, Willis?" haha
SH or Leprosy aren't that technical really, Atheist and Nocturnus for example were much more technical at the time. But lets not get into that argument. Death have to be given the credit of being the most influential in the whole technicality movement in death metal, BUT the popularity contest aside, my point was that I think people need to face the fact that they didn't innovate it. Besides, tech death was pretty much the result of taking example from the direction thrash bands took before them
Tech death was around heard of atheist.
another band that was friends with Cynic and Death
