+Robert Paul Gass 100% agree - Human is the most important album of death metal - concept / execution / musicality / message / legacy. I was 13yo when this came out - i remember the day i listened to creeping drums in triplets... never stopped listening to this album... the new remaster done by Jim Morrison is so good - toms and bass up - much needed for this master piece. Death is the only band that could do different things on each album and be relevant. Human and Individual... are my all time best.

These videos are great... I met Sean while Death was promoting this album. During their “In Human” Tour they played here in Atlanta at the old Masquerade. After the gig, Chuck was busy but smiled and shook my hand in passing, however Sean stopped and spoke to me and my best friend at the time (MM). He was very polite, friendly and down to earth dude. It was a great show. Still got the shirt I bought that night. For the 15 year old version of myself, it was a very cool night in January of 1992. R.I.P. Sean Reinert

I keep thinking, even a a metal place like Morris Sound, that at the time they had to be thinking that these guys were on another level than most with regards to writings and talent of each player. i'm so glad i was able to grow up in this era. This is when death metal/thrash/hard core/punk/etc were true & great songs were being written. Then this grunge/alternative scene broke in the 90's. I remember going to see the famous GiganTour in the mid 90's in Toronto,Ontario,Canada & it was obviously Megadeth,Slayer,Anthrax & Alice N Chains which was very odd & Alice n Chains took a lot of abuse on that tour from fans & the other bands, but they took it with grace & powered through it.
