I play drums too and yeah it’s pretty awesome if you get to be creative with more than just the drums

That is an incredible epic drumming Zack Hill does in this performance, especially in the beginning and end of the song.

AGREED. Gotta catch them live, ESPECIALLY after "The Money Store" drops. Death Grips FTW.

They reenacted that part during their first tour stop in Portland!

So there appears to be part of the sample/whatever sound that was used in Bitch Please in this video, a year before The Money Store came out. Cool.

Best part about it was the drummer breaking his shit in the intro.

This is so fucking awesome Zach is truly a legend along with Ride and Andy

I love when the Zach Hills drums intense like always, when it's mixed with Andy's keyboard and MC Ride's hand movements, it makes it seem so cool haha

zach hill is so good at what he does, never missing those snare hits on 2 and 4 and still being a fucking boss in between during the songs.

i mean.ok...you're trying to say he's overplaying. but his style is BUSY and that is working for him. there have been a lot of musicians over the years, minimalists---and "note-y" and we love them all.

They're doing it to work on the second album. While I enjoyed Exmillitary and The Money Store it'll be interesting to see what they do with No Love given that TMS has gotten as much acclaim as it has. Who knows what MC Ride will put out lyrically and what Zach Hill and Flatlander will do. Plus they'll most likely tour on that album so I'm not too worried. Hopefully they don't cancel a Toronto show for the third time lol

I know everyone is hating on you, but I know what you're saying. While it doesn't detract from Death Grips for me, I feel like if he would expose his knowledge of rudiments in a more "graspable" way, it would reveal another layer to his sound. But alas, he is who he is, and he is amazing at what he does.

+66werewolf Double kicks are for people content to have a weak right foot and huge kits just serve as a distraction from mediocre drumming. Jordison is an impressive technician, but he has contributed nothing to the art form. Just another metalcore show-off.

66werewolf Zach is way way way better than Joey. Ask any person who actually drums. Chris Adler, Joey Jordison are all very overrated. Heck Danny Carey, Mike Portnoy, John Bonham, Neil Peart, Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, I can name a dozen drummers better than Joey Jordison.
