No word about what happened to Sarah, the neighbour! She knew from the beginning, she went to the pharmacy with Kate, she even tasted the poisoned wine and she said absolutely NOTHING! I am sorry, but this was FAR more than just a fleeting fantasy, and Sarah actually took part in all these preparations, so I don't buy her story of "I didn't believe it was real" at ALL. She knew all along and she never said a word to anyone - if your neighbour was preparing to murder her husband and took you along for weeks, wouldn't you have said something to someone? Neither the iron solution nor the antifreeze were fantasies, they were REAL, and yet no one thought to ask stupid Sarah what she was waiting for to actually open her mouth?! She was a part of the scheme, not an innocent bystander as she pretends to be. She didn't think it was real, my ars*.

The woman sought the quickest way to instant riches and found instead the quickest way to permanent jail-term. She has all of 30 yrs to ponder and figure out for herself just where things went wrong. To that end, the court has been very merciful to her indeed.

Materialistic, high maintenance women (or men) are always bad news. So sorry about Lee, nice men are hard to come by and one of them managed to get involved with a monster.

Lee is such a remarkable man. He has demonstrated such resilience and nobility of character that he truly deserves good life henceforth.

Why wouldn't the neighbor say anything?! She seriously could have helped prevented what happened to him!!! What wonderful family, friends, and what a wonderful work family he has!!!! The fact his employer still has him there is so awesome! And cheers to his brother Michael!!!! What a super hero!!!!!! That's just so beautiful to see!!!! About 2:30 Kate's Narscissts traits are described:. She was bubbly and outgoing (superficial charm). She liked everything Lee liked (a narcissist will seem like a dream partner and love bomb their Target). Everything moved fast. (They chose gentle, kind, loving and agreeable partners and rush thungs). As soon as she entered Lee's Mother's home she went right to the cupboards and opened them looking for tea instead of greeting and asking (sense of entitlement). And Lee's Mother noticed she was domineering and had to have the last word on everything. And she was motivated by money. The terraced house wasn't good enough for her. She wanted more. Kind loving gentle people don't always notice these things when they're in love.

The mother is amazing. She raised two amazing men.

This is one of the strongest men I've ever seen...a true gentle giant. He's an amazing man. God bless him.

Lee is such an amazing, hard working, kind man. How terribly sad for him and his family.

I just googled this case, she was sentenced in 2008 and told she'd serve at least half of the 30 years before being eligible for parole. That could mean shes eligible for parole now which is a horrible thought!

I think the only two I know off where those two kids that murdered Jamie the toddler. I'm just so happy that he found someone after his horrific experience and I'm extremely satisfied that Kate has to serve her sentence knowing full well through the grapevine that Lee has a new girlfriend, living life in the world, living period. Now everything she thinks about IS an actual fantasy within the walls of prison. Yes, I'm extremely satisfied with that thought.

Don’t let these programs bring tears to your eyes all you’re doing is shortening your life because the body releases negative chemicals in the body. That’s why they say people that drink in moderation live longer because they’re always laughing laughter is literally good medicine. These programs are for entertainment these things are in the past . My take is that she simply didn't believe that this woman she has just met is telling her such personal information, especially considering the legal ramifications. As soon as she realized that her crazy a$$ neighbor really had poisoned her husband, she immediately gave the family the information, and Lee actually had a fighting chance. Plus I imagine she was a crucial witness. That shows strength and courage, imo.

What a lovely man Lee is. He didn't deserve any of this, and to know his suffering will go on and on......I hope the transplant is successful. I'm glad he has found love again and has the strength and support of his family and friends. If it hadn't been for Sarah speaking up he would have died. However if I was Sarah I'd have gone to the police as soon as that succubus told me of her plans. People tell us who they are, we must believe them.

To be fair there would not have been much the police could have done, all she had to do was deny she had ever made that remark. But I do agree that she should have told them, especially after the trip to the chemist! At least the police would have had a record of it.

What an act of selflessness by his brother, I have a couple of friends one who has given to her twin sister and has no problems at all after 20 plus years, the other a recipient of her brother after childhood problems, had two family transplants she became a nurse and has had a son with her husband and he did not have the gene and was conceived naturally. Hoping anyone going through this will understand how well this can go. Lastly to his beautiful Mum, you were chosen to love your boys the way you have raised them is a credit to you. What a fortunate son to have a father , uncle and grandmother to have around you as you learn to deal with all this trauma. Much aroha, love as we say in New Zealand, kia kaha Lee when you watch the All Blacks do their haka next time they play England know that battle cry is in your heart and soul and you are a warrior. ❤

That's a monster to have done it to someone she claims to have love.

I'm so sorry Lee that this horrible woman did this to you. It must be so devastating to know that the person you trusted and loved did this to you. She would have done this to anyone she would have been married to as she's a total psychopath who can only care about herself and is unable to love or have compassion for another soul..

A dear lovely man.......I just cannot believe anybody could try to kill another person, unfortunately, it happens every day! He has a loving, caring mother and family and his employer and friends. Bless him and wish him love and happiness in his life.

I can’t even come up with words strong enough to express my feelings towards that vile female …. Prayers that Lee & his Son are able to have a peaceful life 🙏🏼❤️.

The defence counsel suggested that Lee's poisoning came from heavy drinking. I am no toxicologist but I am sure that alcohol poisoning does not cause deafness or blindness. It may cause liver damage, though.

Lee is a lovely man with a beautiful family and friends. Thank the heavens he is surrounded by such caring people which I believe has made a big difference in his continuing recovery. I'm so glad his son gets to grow up with him, his nana and his network of good friends. 😊❤

This is heartbreaking!if my husband tries to eat something 30 seconds after midnight on an expiry date I literally will tackle him to the ground and yank food out of his mouth!!!!!!to think that somebody could do this to someone who loves,trusts them,has provided so selflessly for...hell, I'm rarely affected by crime things etc but this is one of the most harrowing cases ever!I trust God blesses this man the rest of his days

I'm the opposite. Recently ate a tin of meat 7 years past its use by date. Still breathing. But I share your concern for this poor man. He seems genuinely lovely, I hope he and his family thrive after this trauma.

​@@crazygreenlady7907A tin of meat over twenty years old was found in perfect edible condition some years ago. While I would never eat a can of meat twenty years old, some mayonnaise I use is sometimes a month or two out of date and still tastes well.

I could have burst out crying for Lee 😥It's so devastating and heartbreaking what this gentle giant endured at the hands of such a manipulative cruel, and disgusting woman. I pray his family is healthy, his little boy is fortunate to have such a dear courageous father.

This has to be one of the most unbelievable episodes I've ever seen. How could a woman poison her husband who did nothing but worked hard for the family? All the best to you Lee, you are a good man.

There are just a few times when I hear a case like this and think 'an eye for an eye.' I often think this way when I hear of a case of cruelty to an animal or a child. Whatever the perpetrator did to that child or animal, the same should be done to them. This should just be the start of their sentence. Kate deserves to have a cup full of antifreeze poured down her throat; be left alone with the wrenching stomach pain for five days; watch while no-one knows how to treat you; go into a coma for 10 weeks; then come out the other side with no ability to hear or see, along with a kidney that needs to be treated for life. I know it sounds harsh but maybe these sub-humans would think a little more carefully about what they are prepared to do to another.

I love Nightmare in Suburbia. It's so interesting and well done. I look forward to new videos coming out. I don't know if this is a series in the UK but, I love it on KZread here in the US.
