I did....i listened to this song almost 4 years ago for the first time ever and I really wanted to be loved by the person I thought was the one so much. I would sing this song thinking of him but he never loved me back. Fast forward to last year and right when I didn't think of anyone but myself for the first time my soulmate appeared and saved me from any other worries and negativity. I feel loved so so so so loved but there's times where I just feel so terrible for not loving him the way I'm supposed to. I'm so scared I'm going to lose him because of my own thoughts and actions.... I am loved now but how am I suppose to love ??...I really need some help I don't want to lose him

I broke up with my boyfriend today... This morning, I had to give him back few items belonging to him. With that, I wrote the lyrics down on a letter and gave it to him with the link of this video. I can't express how much those lyrics and video are so spot on... even the flower at the end, since he is a garderner. Tony, I am so sorry. Someday, you will be loved too.

I listened to this song on repeat after the breakup with my abusive ex-boyfriend. It gave me hope that someone would appreciate my love & he would become a terrible dream. I can report that 7 years later, he is a distant memory of a bad dream. It feels weird listening to this song now. I can remember how bad I hurt. But I'm happy to see/feel how far I've come. Ps. When I was younger, I found this encouraging in a melancholic way. Today, I still do. However it hits different. When I was younger I thought he was an absolute asshole to end it clean like that. The note method is still disrespectful, but he didn't keep leading her on. Which is a good thing. So I have less negative feelings to the "speaker" of the song now. Instead of keeping the relationship or cheating etc... he cut it off clean. Wish it was more clean more often for people.

I really like the music video. It looks really nice. I esp liked when the heart got wrapped up in bandages and then bled out...dunno why it's going through so much...I guess love does that.

Hard to express even platonic love when people just use you to feed their egos :(

@@Marieparawho science (and observation of reality) tells us that girls brains reach psychological maturity about 3 years earlier than boys do. And her intelligence and EQ (emotional intelligence) was way above the average even for girls her age. I was only a year older so I didn’t stand a chance of non self-sabotage in hindsight ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ On a side note, I’m pretty sure that genuinely kind and supportive KZread comments are one of the signs of the apocalypse. 😙
