You're gonna have a good time going into the death cab rabbit hole. I've been listening to them for like 5 years now. My favorite song from them might be you are a tourist but they've been putting out bangers ever since the early 2000s

Favorite band of all time! Their new song is awesome!

Their last couple albums were good but didn't hit me much on an emotional level. This song however is amazing, their most affecting in years. Brought me to tears, that first verse is something else.

Kintsugi was great. No Room In Frame was peak Death Cab IMO. New album is definitely more complex than the last for sure!

I introduced my wife to Death Cab for Cutie in the car. When she saw the name of the band come up on the screen she was horrified, convinced I was about to play some hideous metal band. She loved them, of course.

This has some very strong New Order vibes. I think it's the bassline.

Man this is the best band on the planet atm. Ben’s incredible singing is backed up with some of the best guitar I have heard. Northern Lights was my favourite song but this new one up there with their best work. Keep up the great songs. It’s such a pleasure listening to your songs. ❤️

They got their start in my home town.

That song was recorded by their group the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band. The song appears on Bonzo’s 1967 debut album, Gorilla, and was performed in the 1967 movie, Magical Mystery Tour. Ben is the lead singer and dave is the backup singer. Not everyone in the band can sing as well as they do. That’s why they have people to sing, people to play the drums, people to play bass and such.

This is much less DCFC reviving themselves and moreso continuing to make music. They've released new records consistently every 2-5 years ish since the late 90s

This song is how I feel about listening to them for the last 15 years. It’s just too much sometimes, in a good day bad way. Still my favorite band, it’s just harder and harder to listen…

All the guitars are live, the fake bit you're hearing is that sample being fired in the outro, that's coming out of a Macbook somewhere, probably also piping the click to the drummer.
