My favorite thing about this animation is it captures both the fact that Frisk is being thrown many dangerous attacks, but at the same time that they’re constantly doing poses and goofing around with Mettaton. It portrays this double of both being in great danger and also having tons of fun, an element that I think is there, but not really able to be conveyed well, in Undertale

Chara was the quiet and edgy one, Asriel ended up being the soulless one, so everyone subconsciously wants them to be the MC. Ironic considering the sheer number of people hating on Flowey and Chara in the Genocide run.

From the few hints you get from Frisks actual personality they actually seem much more kind-hearted and optimist, a bit like the opposite of Chara, but as players, we can’t really put blame on ourselves, someone must take the blame whether under their interpretation is Frisk or Chara. It’s kinda sad though, I believe a lot of people ignore how messed up I’d be to just have met monsters and all of them try to kill you or hurt you, The fallen humans must be traumatized lol

Plot twist: The one in the audience seat is actually Gaster disguised to come and look at the show

Frisk dancing is the cutest thing ever. And Mettaton joining in, like they are an amazing duo on stage. And the ''For the fans'' story board was just pulling on my heart strings. I could almost cry. This was so well done, well animated, and the inerpertations of the characters are exacly how I'd imegine them! Thank you for creating this! This is amazing!!

Every couple months I come back and watch this again. Doesn't even matter if I'm into Undertale (though right now I most certainly am) but I *always* love the fight scene and cry like hell after. Your interpretation of Frisk is amazing, and spot on with how a child would react. Your interpretation of Mettaton is perfect, he incorporates style into his attacks and even bloody dances with Frisk in the middle of the fight! And the fight itself flows so smoothly, it's like reading a poem. I can say with confidence that this video solidified Mettaton as my favorite character when I first watched it.

I 100% with my full heart blame this one animation for making me question my gender. But seriously, though, I loved watching this one video as a kid, and now that I'm getting into Undertale again, I thought to rewatch it. I don't regret anything. This video is amazing and really impacted my love for Mettaton. After all of these years, my Mettaton shaped hole in my Mettaton shaped heart is filled with Mettaton-like joy once more.

Honestly this is what makes us all think Grillby only serves alcohol and not things like water or soda (as a living fire he could most likely just burn off any alcohol that hits him). You can't order a drink when you go with Sans, all the bottles look like alcohol bottles, and even the cups you see look like shot glasses or maybe just simple glasses that could have anything in them.

THIS A THOUSAND TIMES THIS, there’s a bit where Frisk is dancing in front of the entire crowd during the chorus that I genuinely think is breathtaking with just how confident it is.

The fact sans goes from being in the crowd to being at grillbys then back into the crowd and etc etc through the first half is amazing

It's been seven years. I really miss the time of all these amazing undertale animations. It meant as much to me then as it does now. I will never forget undertale

God dammit, rewatching this after 6 years and still looks really beautiful... it really gives you the same felling that the real game part gives you. Hope if one day you can "remake" this with more color and frames... not like it really needs it.

I've played Undertale for the first time this year and Metatton is by far my favorite character, I haven't feel so emotional about a game since I was a child and I'm in my late 20's. Honestly and I'm in a dark place right now, and media has been one of the things that are helping me to keep going, I guess that's why Metatton story hits home for me. This is an old vid but it's awesome btw ❤️

This is your first rough animation?? :D It's my favorite animation ever! The way you drew Metaton and Frisk dancing through their battle is *chef's kiss*.

This fight also turned out to have the highest ratings on KZread in Undertale

I have always loved the fact that Mettaton calls Frisk " Darling." It just always warmed my heart. It's like they have a real connection, even when He is trying to kill Them. Then when he says " Knock 'em dead, Darling." Hits me every time. I love this animation! That dancing in sync moment is my favorite!

I love watching this fight whenever I need a pick-me-up. I also love how it’s not just the fight, it’s the calls afterwards as well. The animation makes you smile along with the characters. It’s been seven years since this came out, it’s still one of the most popular, and it absolutely deserves it.

Napstablook talking to Mettaton not knowing it was his cousin, and Mettaton realising how lonely Napstablook must feel brought tears to my eyes. This is so beautiful, even after 8 years

Seriously! and I almost started tearing up when Napstablook showed up! I never even thought it was Napstablook who called mettaton first! (I know this is fan made but that scenario was perfect!).

THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL OMGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!! I've seen this video a long time ago (probably around 4-5 years since ive seen it) AND IT HITS SO MUCH HARDER!!!!! I was probably still a child when I saw this so i couldn't really appreciate how well you fit the character designs, ESPECIALLY WITH FRISK since you can't really see their face in the game. And Mettaton's art was amazing as well!!!!!!! Overall, 10/10 work!!!!!

I think this is the third time of commented on this video. I always come back here every few years just relive the magnificence of this animation. It is honestly in my top 5 for undertale animations and that’s saying a lot considering just how many GREAT fan animations there are. I’m glad to see that even years later others also come back to this video. Still an amazing piece of work

I don't know why, but I really like Frisk's design in this animation. Very well done.

This animation is simply fantastic. It's impressive how perfectly it represents everything I experienced when I fought Mettaton for the first time.

8 years later still the best animatic I've ever seen. You captured ALL the characters really well! Fisk playing along in the pacifist run, Mettaton's flamboyant and outrageous personality. Even to the minor characters like Sans who is somehow in the crowd while also being at Grillby's (He is also sleeping through the performance in the crowd). So many amazing details

legit doesn't matter how long ago this was made, it still never gets old.

This is probably the best Undertale animation ever made this far, I keep coming back to it now and then after all those years ^^

I love this animatic so much!! I can see all the love you put in every trace and frame of this! If there was an animated series of Undertale, I would be upset if they don't choose you as the animator of the series.

If I ever get like a LOT of money I would commission you for a whole animated series based on the game. You really knocked this one out of the park. The part with Sans and Papyrus in the bar was just excellent.
