Making the note resolution incredibly small to the point where it generates synth tones and using Midi velocity as sidechain is actually genius. EDIT: I was just trying to compliment Virtual Riot's artistry, but people want to nitpick my choice of words (I called him a genius) because apparently other artists have done this before.
