My guesses: Tanjiro vs. Jonathan Joestar Scarlet Witch vs. Zatanna Tetsuo vs. Mewtwo(majority have spoken to have Magneto fight Tetsuo instead of Grodd, but I can hope, can I?) Thor vs. Vegeta(the only MU that has a foe with connections and some effort to put a challenge for Vegeta) Boba Fett vs. Predator, Wolf or Vile Harley Quinn vs. Jinx(because 2022 is Harley's 30th anniversary and Arcane gave more connections between Harley and Jinx) I still hope we get to see either Sly Cooper or a Kirby character in season 9 because they too have big anniversaries in 2022.

This fight really brings out the genuine fans of OPM, and separates them from the die-hard fan boys. The mass majority of OPM Fan comments that I've seen are more-so happy by the fact Saitama was represented in an admirable and new light. He had gotten a serious fight at last, even if it was a stomp. Meanwhile you have the die-hard comments spewing out crap about "solos fiction" and whatnot. Season started with an Emotional Fight, and it ended with one as well. GGs

I feel like the reasin that put Siatama against the Spinich man is because they knew they could let their animators loose. Also, once things go 3D, Saitama is fighting for his life. Every punch was metted out with a retaliatoin that as harder.

I'm a pretty big fan of One-Punch Man myself. I kinda knew that Popeye would win going into this and that _did_ bother me a bit. But then the scene where Saitama was sincerely happy about how he actually had to try in this fight happened. It brought a little tear to my eye. I love this battle. Besides, if the character himself is anything to go by, Saitama would love this battle, the outcome included.

I think the Renegades were *SO SALTY* about the income. Like to the point where they said things like "that's bullshit because I say so!" and even called out the people who dislike the video for their salt. "I can hear their fat fingers hitting dislike now" or something like that. I like OPM, but Popeye is something I grew up with. This match-up was so one-sided that true genuine fans of anime and cartoons knew it and accepted it. The fact Saitama was thrilled at having an actual fight was better than just letting him win because "he can solo anyone" fanboys reeeeeeee-ing over their keyboards.

@@Skrulzie I stay FAR away from Renegades React because of how immature and salty they act with very little reason to be so. The amount of disrespect they show their viewers due to their own biases is awful. And this isn’t even the first time they’ve done this (Kirby vs Boo).

Actually Luffy is a ripoff of Popeye. Popeye began in 1929 while One Piece started in 1997. You could say Mr. Fantastic, Plastic Man and every other rubberized hero/heroine is a ripoff of Popeye since he started the rubber body part genre.

Popeye is literally the grandfather of the superhero archetype. He was literally the very first, although the term didn't exist at that time. It's funny how the original man is still one of the strongest if not the strongest outright.

If you're wondering why the use of that Popeye model for the 3D part of the fight, it's most likely a thing DevilArtemis (the person who animated the CGI part of the fight) added himself Cause there's a gag on his videos were he gives budget increases to certain characters, this certainly seems to be the case here as well

I remember reading the comments and seeing someone mention that they spent time on a battleship and there was a mural of Popeye on the wall that looked extremely similar to that horrifying CGI model, right down to the tattoos. In terms of Spinach, my family tends to get cans of it. We drain the can heavily, AKA "the water inside the can turns somewhat green". Keep pressing the lid to the spinach as a discount strainer, if you have a strainer use that first. Then you put it in a microwavable container with some salted butter and microwave it (stir it periodically). Warning: Your BMs might become green.

I too was Spoiled on Spider-Man: No Way Home a lot. A lot of people just don't care at all about the people who doesn't want to know what happens before they watch the movie. Seriously people, at least wait until the movie has finished it's cinema time first!

I feel like matches like this are the best for Saitama. Not for fairness, but for Saitama’s sake. He can finally fight seriously, and even then he still loses. The live action Popeye is definitely real. It is a real movie starring Robin Williams as Popeye. Robin even mentions it as his closing joke in his Weapons of Self-Destruction performance and puts on the Popeye voice when he does it.

A fair number of people do Saitama's workout. Lanipator of Team Fourstar was doing it for a while. I'm surprised that the description of the workout had audio in your version! That audio was muted on the original video when I did my reaction. Live action Popeye isn't just real, he was played by Robin Williams! Also they built up an island to film it and people still live there.

Always gotta respect the success that Popeye had with actually getting kids to eat spinach. I'm 34 now, I grew up with the old Popeye cartoons because of Cartoon Network and my dad, and I fucking love spinach in my salad and as a side for my steak. Also, this battle was fuckin' rad, yo. Seeing Saitama so happy about a real fight was also super cathartic; poor guy's been dreaming for this forever.
