The guy volunteered. They just asked available voice actors if any of them wanted to voice Machamp, and they got a whole hearted yes from Kestin Howard.

One thing I really loved about this battle was that it was essentially a 3 round Mortal Kombat fight. Round 1 ended with the Seismic Toss into orbit Round 2 ended with the Skull crush leading into wall throw Round 3 ended with the a Fatality worthy of taking down the long running champion of Mortal Kombat

He didn't just dab, he double dabed.

My man Machamp won!! Not gonna lie, I was not expecting him to do the dab, that was funny!

Dabbing requires two arms. Since Machamp has four it's actually two times the dabbing.

Also this Machamp was of course a wild one so no Close Combat or any other stupidly strong moves it could learn by TM/HM and no held item

Since this is not an official pokemon battle, like Smash or Pokken, Machamp is allowed to use more than its four retained attacks as well as just, yknow, kicking the shit outta it's opponent. It also pulled off combinations like the Cross chop/Strength combo it used. And it's finish was a full power Dynamic Punch, a move it learns from leveling up.

In MY opinion, one of the best Battle with a Pokemon combatant. And Machamp isn’t even among MY Fave Pokemon🥊😊

I honestly think this fight was so good because it was so SIMPLE. Two dude just punching the ever living shit out of each other.

8:43 No. Low Kick’s the move that does more damage if the target’s heavier than the user. Seismic Toss does a set amount of damage depending on the user’s level.

Also, while it was cool that Machamp had it's Guts ability here and he got double Attack power, keep in mind that the burn status halves physical attack so it technically didn't gain an attack boost...

@@sethporter9066 No, the creators accounted for that. Pokémon with Guts have been immune to the physical attack-halving effect of burns since Generation III. Also, Guts gives a 1.5x boost, not a 2x.

To past-Amber: Low Kick is the one that's stronger against heavy opponents. Low Sweep is a Speed-reducing attack, and Seismic Toss's damage equals the user's level.

They forgot about Ghost types are immune against Fighting and Normal types. Bit of weakness to Fighting types. But, Flying, Psychic and Fairy types are used more often. But, most Fighting types do have some coverage moves to counteract it's weaknesses.

Funny enough, Low Sweep is called “Low Kick” in Japanese. The English Low Kick is “Kick Down”.

I was surprised Machamp won but because he won I want to see him go up against Fourarms from Ben 10.

Keep in mind, what works against Dragon-types in Pokemon, might not work againts dragons in other series. For example, Fairy-types are strong against dragon-types. But in Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Navi did absolutely nothing against the dragon, Volvagia.

From what I can tell, Cable's only chance of winning next time is if his mind based powers can destroy Booster Gold's brain. So far I've only seen Booster Gold resist mind control of the very powerful Maxwell Lord, though it was a big strain for him and he even bled from it. Not sure how he can handle direct attacks to damage and destroy his mind. But given he is a DC character, he probably has something super OP up his sleeves that could give him an instant win.
