@@xhafts not really. Omni man never hesitates to fight people as strong or even stronger than himself and pushes himself to his limits if the need arises. He has trained and fought for millenia unlike Homelander who is basically just your average Hollywood resident but on Superman juice.

Because Debbie was already dead. Nolan couldn’t change that meanwhile Mark was still alive. I believe what angered Nolan was that Homelander couldn’t have POSSIBLY known Mark was already grown (as in 17-ish) based on the picture. The sheer audacity of Homelander to even think about murdering Mark (assuming he was still a child) with no remorse really set Nolan off.

Little fun fact Nolan does legitimately love Debbie despite how he presents his feelings. Also viltrumites have a berserker rage that multiplies their strength. So if this fight started the same way in the comics, Nolan would have instantly ripped him limb from limb

People always act shocked at Nolan's "pet" line, and act surprised that he got pissed that Homelander killed Debbie. It's almost like nobody remembers John Wick, and what he did after some dipshits killed HIS pet.

He actually has been hit by someone “his own size” before, but it didn’t end well, spoilers Black Noir punched him and his jaw flew off, and they both managed to harm each other, Black Noir had his brains exposed and his organs spilling out, BUT Homelander was ripped apart and by a relentless rain of Nukes nonetheless

I just realised. Omni Man didn't rip his jaw out because he was annoyed,but to stop him from screaming anymore. Because that's the only way Homelander could have won the fight,like 1/1mil chance he'd win that fight. Homelander would have shouted to throw his equilibrium off balance and lasered him for 10 to 30 minutes if not more.

In the comics where Homelander's scream shattered the passengers eardrums, was Queen Maeve unaffected? If so, then Omni-Man should be okay from Homlander's scream cause I think screaming really loud is different from the supersonic frequency that can harm a Viltrumite's eardrum as Cecil demonstrated to Mark.

For Viltrumites, it's different, because sound is their weakness, One weakness Viltrumites have is their inner ear, which is delicately balanced in order to accommodate their flight. Thousands of years of evolution and getting used to moving through a full 360 degrees of motion in the air has its drawbacks.

I mean, they needed to give Homelander SOMETHING, because this fight was that one sided.

This whole fight was like putting a kid against a bloodlusted war veteran

This is the most gruesome death I have ever seen in Death Battle. Omni man put Homelander in his place.

Clearly Omni- man was going to win. Homelander was the toughest in his universe and only faced like a handful of people who could slightly match him. Omni-man on the other hand has fought countless people with power matching his own. So even if they had similar strength, Homelander would still lose. Could a civilian beat a soldier? Possibly, but what about a soldier who has fought countless wars and has enough medals on him to match a disco ball.

I feel like deep down everybody knew Omni man was goin to win 💀

Bit of Invincible spoilers here but as someone that’s read the whole series multiple times it’s so weird to see things like this depict Nolan as a villain, when for the vast majority of the series he’s actually one of the most morally sound characters in the story. I get it’s because the show hasn’t gotten there yet but it still always throws me.

Something to note in this battle is that they have a pretty effective misdirect for people unfamiliar with one or both of these series, they make a clear effort to emphasize how no one in The Boys universe has the means to hurt Homelander and that he doesn't have any weaknesses. But if you're paying close attention to that then whether you are familiar with either series or not you can see Homelander has never been truly hurt and therefore never fought someone/something on greater or equal footing and would have no answer for either. Lastly 666th comment bitches.
