Considering Ravens close relationship with EVERY main Robin except Todd there are definitely some cool stories that could be easily told with her and Batman especially considering how Dark they allow some of his storylines to get, plus the entire gothic/shadowy aesthetic will definitely fit Raven perfectly. But honestly I really wanna see her interact with the magical side of DC more too, she and Shazam could have some dope adventures and she’s barely ever interacted with Zatanna 🤷🏻‍♂️

Before Raven created the New Teen Titans, she actually went to Justice League to ask for their help, not until Zatanna sensed Raven's demonic nature, Zatanna adviced the group to reject Raven's request. The Justice League later on was manipulated by Trigon, Raven then defeats them with no effort. But I do agree, an interaction of a magician and a demon, two that has different sides of magic would be great.

Raven and Swamp Thing recently had an adventure. Dark Crisis Deadly Green, a comic where Superman, SwampThing and Raven going inside a lantern's ring to find out whats the cause of the darkness that has been affecting everyone. As they three go deeper into the ring, the light of the ring gets more and more darker. The three gets affected and their personalities changed. They became unstable. Superman and SwampThing accuses Raven to be the "Villain" since she is an entity made of darkness. Raven then stated Constantine made her join the team because of her being a darkness being. While all of them gets affected by Darkness, Raven is the only one that knows when are they getting affected. She is aware of her being unlike the two. The two fought Raven and Superman was about to punch her until Raven DOES a *RISKY* move. She absorbed Superman's darkness that affected him, making his darkness her own. This incident became the rebirth of Unkindness but in her LOWEST STATE. SwampThing attempted to attack Raven but Superman stopped him knowing Raven is on their side. SwampThing is still unstable. Raven then explained that if she touches the darkness, SHE WILL BECOME A DARKNESS THAT NO LONGER HAS HER HUMANITY referring to the Unkindness future. Absorbing Superman's darkness transformed her body into her Unkindness form but thankfully she is fully control over her self and restrained Unkindness from rampaging. Superman and SwampThing continued the adventure without Raven as Raven cant continue for their would be risks of her becoming the Full form of Unkindness.

Like the old Death Battle with him in it said, saying that means he's weak is like saying Goku is still weak today because he got beat up by Raditz. Hell even in this Death Battle they mention that Jean Grey has died 16 times and I don't see people calling her weak for that

Match up wise and thematically this has to be my favorite death battle. Two of my favorite power types (espers and magic) my favorite dc character, BIRD BATTLE, light vs dark. And the ending was epic. All around great episode

After reading alot of marvel/dc comics..I knew raven will win even when she was teen She deleted trigon..and her power was enough to match with the specter..and she was holding back against him..and that was on of her weakest versions...raven is immune to warping..magic..and she is immortal..in fact trigon is more powerful than any opponent the Phoenix had fighted... the Phoenix had no chance against raven power 😎

Yeah I think we all can all agree this one of the best death battles in this season and overall. I love the combatants like Raven, became I don't know much about Jean and they give me crash course about her, From the animation styles is pixel my favorite because of freedom of movement and the music rocks. I loved the X-men theme since I heard for the first time in Wolverine's analysis and 15:47 and it's especially epic in combination with the scene where Jean breaks free and spins with Raven in another world.And the ending is skilled ninja amazing. She was much bigger and blew the last of Phoenix's flames out. That's such an anime action. I love it. This proves that the grandest ending doesn't always have to be the loudest or goriest.

I just remembered that Tara Strong and Greg Cipes have a KZread channel. They could of had Tara voice Raven for this fight

I’m actually kinda of sad that this didn’t turn out to be one of those team up death battles. Jean and Raven are wayyy too smart to know it’s her father within her, nothing else. 😂 And the problem with this is… Jean has actually fought the One Above All, though we don’t get to see the fight. She was able to later be seen without a scratch in her and more powerful than ever.

Good to see you again, it is also thanks to you that we got to further understand how powerful Raven is, the fact that she could potentially threaten the Presence and even devoured Dream as the Unkindness already puts her on an extraversal level, God of Stories Loki, one of the characters White Phoenix scales to, may have plot manipulation and narrative level power but that's nothing compared to being able to threaten The Presence that writes on the canvas and Lucifer whose character is beyond plot manipulation. DB is right when they said Raven's reputation doesn't live up to the Phoenix's, that's why it's so easy to question Raven's victory because of her lack of popularity in comparison to Phoenix. I do have one question though, where is the scan where she resisted reality erasure?

Raven was meditating in her room and decided to astral project or separate her soul from her body. She then travelled miles distance to save a robbery, but there is one problem. Azarathians' astral projection has time limit which is 5 mins. Unfortunately Raven got late for a second and got *PUNISHED* and her soul was erased from reality. Her being erased in reality gave the demons that craved her power the opportunity to finally get her. She was pulled into a dimension full of horror unimaginable. She fought back resisting their attempt to get her soul while trying to bring herself back to reality. She SHATTERED the bounds of reality and finally brought herself back. She then stated that she is the only Azarathian that resisted the punishment.

Whenever a Death Battle comes up, the way to bet is usually: Cartoons > DC Comics > Marvel > Anime > Video Games. It's far from guaranteed as there are exceptions here and there, but it's a safe bet. Cartoons break reality, DC characters are usually OP as hell, Marvel's have huge back histories of feats to draw on with spikes of insane power, Animes don't usually run as long but have insane feats as well, while Video Games have the shortest backstories and feats not usually as hyped as the others, unless it's a villain/final boss.

Next Death Battle connections: Both lived rough lives growing up but learned valuable skills that would serve them greatly in the future, they then over time get friends and life is good... until it turns out that one of their closest friends is a dirty stinking traitor that plans on killing them all and they are unable to stop it in time and in the ensuing chaos lots of people die, they both lose an eye, and they are left alone to savagely kill anything that gets in their way of killing the traitor. This isolation is broken when some of their old friends who in fact did not die show up and offer to help them which over time warms their cold heart a little even though they'd still retain that wild savagery in battle. Outside of that they both have very good armor, special weapons that technically anyone could use but due to circumstance their the only ones that can use them effectively, both have killed things way bigger and stronger than themselves, and despite all of the killing they do and the dangers they face they are at the end of the day still as human and vulnerable as anyone else

Funny fact is that no one can take Phoenix or Jean souls when they are together, Jean is the perfect person for Phoenix to use their total Power extension, and in the last Phoenix movie a blonde woman tried to take Phoenix soul unsucessfully another fact is that officially Jean and Raven have the same Power level, i heard this somewhere Marvel or DC wrote It.
