This matchup has aged like a fine wine I think, especially with the recent episode and it's reveal that The queen of the lunarians, the last son and the d day knight are in fact all aspects of God President Nixon from the dean verse who plays a role in the Nixon verse similar to the role Doctor Manhattan played in Doomsday clock

Welp, the last episode came out and *spoiler alert* for Nixonverse: If we're using Watchmen version only I genuinely believe Nixon could beat him by rendering him fiction just like the last episode. But if its Doomsday clock Manhattan than its a complete stomp in Manhattan's favour seeing how big his influence is to the DC metaverse

genuine fucking chills. Reading into Son of Alcatraz gives me some serious SCP/Creepypasta vibes so I can definitely see the angle of where this MU can go

I love the feeling of this so much, the production quality, the intentional vagueness. Hell, I even adore even just the title! But my favorite part is definitely the music. God, it relates to both characters so well. Then that final clip of "God exists, and he is American" perfectly sums up their connections in such a beautiful way. The various alias's of the characters popping up is such a nice touch. Easily one of the best DB trailers on YT & my personal favorite.

Correct as The Last Son of Alcatraz and The D-Day Knight despite coming from the same being, they are two separate beings. And neither of them are close to Manhattan's level. Nixon is the best choice for this.

I always wanted a superhero analog horror. This gave me all I wanted with the DC mythos, really, and now I want a marvel based one .

Interesting, putting a character whose whole thing is something abstract against someone who is less of a character than an abstract concept. Very interesting Match-up, I like the idea.

The title of the death battle between the two is god is american so expect it to go very hard

TL;DR: To sum up my rant about an exceptional fan-made Death Battle video into a comprehensible short sentence, the music choice, editing, and subtle details make this video Hugh Mann's greatest work yet. This is by far one of, if not the best video you've made yet, and I consider you as one of the higher-quality fan-made Death Battle creators. Not only is the music choice genius, but the editing is also phenomenal compared to your other works. This is your first and most likely only video so far where you had me actually invested in the character, even if it's ever so slightly. The quality of this calibre for a fan-made Death Battle is unbelievable. The subtle details such as the music volume decreasing at 0:17 and the zooming in with each laugh at 0:20 are the cherry on top. A round of applause for you. Well done, Hugh Mann. Well done.

This might just be the best trailer I've ever seen for a matchup. Literal chills and excellent editing. I hope The Last Son gets more feats in future videos so this gets viable

Yeah I have a few ideas where characters haven’t been around as long as possible or their actual canon/canonic it is extremely questionable(The Owl House, The Dragon Prince, SCP Foundation, Kirby extended universe)so my thought process is to wait until either one more season, make a composite version, or wait until the series is finished for said character to appear.

I’m going the same way but that’s because I don’t know The Last Son’s powers. He comes from the Analog alternate history universe, The Monument Mythos. I looked up his wiki page and to my knowledge he’s an abstract concept given a form and has abilities that might be similar to Superman’s, but that part of the wiki was very vague. He also was brainwashed at one point and turned into a weapon of war for the American regime when they attempted to take over the world(That’s what it sounded like if I’m wrong then I misread). Both are pretty similar in the fact that they are at their core an abstract concept with the power to change reality as they see fit essentially, come from an alternate history universe where one simple thing drastically changed the course of human history, and both weee used by the American Military during wars in Asia during the Cold War Era. Do to Manhattan’s literal omnipotent power level I’d say he wins but I know nothing of the Last Son’s actual powers so it could go either way.

The final connection is that both originate from an alternate history series, that focuses on America. As for who wins I’m not sure. We haven’t seen enough of the Monument Mythos to know the Last Son/Crescent Kings full power, but all things considered it currently stands that Doctor Manhattan would win, his power being just below that of omnipotence, which is literally control over everything across all of reality. Doctor Manhattan is only one step below that.

Oh yeah Doomsday Clock Manhattan absolutely obliterates, but if we restrict him only to his Watchmen feats this becomes much more interesting. Watchmen Manhattan is much more restricted that Doomsday Clock, given that Doomsday Clock is the product of him having an extended period of time to study and tinker with the multiverse.

Welp, there is no way this is ever becoming an actual episode now that Alex Casanas turned out to be a sex offender, ScrewAttack wouldn't want to get involved in this sort of drama. Which is unfortunate, because this trailer is really fucking good. The editing in this is phenomenal.
