The simple concept of a educational cartoon character talking not just to the viewer, but specifically one person is oddly unnerving. However, the idea that the character in said show both can talk to you and BE REPLACED is so weird. Love this series.

Yeah and even better yet, characters. Not just pigs for slaughtered. I am not saying that all analog horror have not characters, I was mostly referring to a espisific one who really there was only victims and not real reason for care for them. In this we have this characters that aren't monsters per say, more of supernatural beings that can actually communicate. A really solid story and. Mystery and logic. It is great to be honest. I fell like the mother will have another relevance to the story

The horror and evil is the dad or father figure, or what ever evil that was the male, the show really is hidding the real true horror of reality, or dare I say even possesion. It is really terrifying what had to be done to save a kid from something really bad.

I was expecting gabby to be evil

This just feels like the most wholesome reverse version of a creepy pasta. The cartoon subtly but eerily starts responding specifically to their questions. But Gabby help them hide the gun their dad uses and teaches them to be strong. I like how she even reverses the biblical messages and changes it to a more emotional personal strength of character rather than faith. They're very supportive and a little forward. Then Zag cares about her and looks for her. The viewers bad attitude is quite too mean as Zag shows he also cares about Gabby. I also love their personalities. Gabby's voice is very friendly and her helpful and strong but also scheming personality is a really fun combination. Zag is dismissive and distant from others yet has a heart of gold and cares about his close ones and determined. He's also the straight one on the room. This is just a genuinely good story with well written and acted characters. Would love to see it as an actual show.

This is probably the best way for an analog horror to flip the switch! Gabby seems all too real without many of the subtle creepy touches. She cares for Jonah and his life! She cares that he is safe! If I had a vhs or vcr of this certain type, I would definitely listen to the rabbit.

I love how the Angel Gabby series went from " horrifying " to a "Batman theme of events", So by the batman thing i said, I meant like a more childish theme

For once a vhs that deviates from the original script, doesn’t have malicious intent for the viewer, which is nice.

We only get a few clues as to what kind of monster Jonahs dad was, but the few we get are horrifying. He leaves a loaded weapon on a table where a child could get it. He hurt his child enough to leave physical scars and forcing Jonah to surpress his own memories. Jonah had to block his door as well as hide inside of the closet. He even leaves Jonah alone at a gery young age for many hours without supervision while weapons are present. Just those few clues paint a very scary picture without going too far.

A cartoon character speaking to a child through a television and aiding them in crimes is pretty creepy. That said, there aren't any jumpscares or overtly scary images, so I see why a portion of my audience might not _"get it."_ That's okay - I have like a million FNAF videos coming up for the rest of the month .

Oh God, that story is beautiful. I discovered it yesterday with NightMind. I can't blame Gabby, she helped Jonah the only way Jonah could be helped. And the final is just heartbreaking.

Man... this was really good, but yeah it was so unsettling, I was fully terrified like the other analog horror series, but some of the things happening was enough to give me chicken skin.

13:35 The suddent change in animation style was kind of a jumpscare for me. So used to seeing her move like amateur digital puppet animation, and suddently she just goes full frame-by-frame disney level animation. Quite jarring

The way Zaggy is obviously just phoning in his performance finds a way of not feeling like a bored voice actor, but someone going through the motions for formality's sake. After all, he figures kids are watching this with their families.

This was quite an interesting series, as I can relate to Jonah (meaning “Dove” in Hebrew), as I grew up with an abusive father, to the point of being shy and afraid of him, even if it happened to me, as a 90’s kid, as we all need an Angel Hare (Gabby/Gabriel), in our lives.

Ah yes the ultimate protection against a blood thirsty monster, a 1911!

Am I the only one who wants to see if Gabby has hands or not? Imagine if she and Jonas father were to fight to protect him, would Gabby be able to be able to perform Left Right Good Night on him? Serious questions here...

It's way better, I've gotta agree, it had more lore than Amanda the adventurer, and it's not a simple copy of Dora. Angel Hare is more talking to the person that questioning things that seen so simple. And it has an actual thing to it than Amanda the adventurer. And also the fact it's an actual series and not a gane makes it WAY better.

...This isn't Horror. The only "Horror" it has is that Jonah can communicate with the cartoon characters. It's actually seems more like a Mystery Thriller.

yes for once a old vhs like recording that is haunted with a spirit that wants to help, enough with the horror.

The story feels a bit real to me; there have been cases where people remember something & try to find it, only to find out that it's different from what they remembered. Not just in a "Mandela effect" sense, but also in other ways, like if a show got dubbed in a language twice(for example, Space Cats has 2 different European Portuguese dubs) or like in this story, the episodes were edited later on. Or even more interesting, a phenomenon where there are 2 shows with the same name that are unrelated to each other, kind of like what I'm experiencing with a lost media search: The search was for a supposed 3rd English dub of Ojamajo Doremi, which was called Magical Doremi like the Singaporean English dub(unlike the well known American English dub, which is called Magical DoReMi) of which was claimed to be a thing on a Kidscreen article back in 1999. Now-in-days Nildrohain & I think that it's an English dub of an unrelated, *much* more obscure show from somewhere in Western Europe or possibly Eastern Europe, but otherwise we have no idea.

Her voice is so calming though :
